Ryan “TheSims” Hohner Doubles Through Gagliano

Michael "Gags30" Gagliano has already collected three bounties today, and chopped a fourth with another player, but he just missed out on getting his fifth prize.

Following a standard raise at the 1,400-2,800 level, Ryan “TheSims” Hohner shoved all in for 22,000 on the button with pocket jacks. Gagliano called with {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, and he was never able to get close to the big pair of Hohner.

He collects a small double up, while Gagliano is still in great shape with over 200,000 chips.

The Guarantee Has Been Surpassed

The virtual clock says 61 total entires, which means the overall prizepool is now over $12,000. Registration is still open for another 20 minutes, so there will be a handful more bounties still added to the prizepool. Don't miss out!

Buzgon Collects Two More Bounties

Blinds: 1,000-2,000

It is, quite simply, the Daniel “leinad” Buzgon show at the moment in this event. He has just collected two more bounties to put his total at a staggering 10. No one else in the event has more than four at the moment. Here is how the latest hand played out.

Buzgon started the action by raising to 6,000. Chris “rumpthumper” White moved all in for 29,000, and a few seats over, "rounder1420" also moved all in. Buzgon thought for just a few moments before calling.

Chris “rumpthumper” White: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
rounder1420: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Daniel “leinad” Buzgon: {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

The flop of {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}{8-Diamonds} didn't hit any players, but the {10-Diamonds} on the turn gave Buzgon a world of outs. He would hit on with the {4-Diamonds} river, and just like that, Buzgon's stack swelled up to nearly 300,000.

River Ten Saves "rule22"

After a raise of 2,000 from Michael “UFOLDIWIN” St. John, "SharingisCaring" moved all in for 29,900. In the big blind, "rule22" would call all in for just 200 chips less.

"SharingisCaring": {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
"rule22": {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}

"SharingisCaring" survived the flop, and the turn, but a ten on the river saw him just miss out on a double up and knockout. As it is, "rule22" has doubled, while everyone will be eyeing the short bounty at the table.

Level 6 Chip Count Updates

"Luckyduck" is the first player to claim three bounties so far, meaning he has already locked up a $150 rebate on his $215 buy-in. Of course, that also means his bounty is up to $250, but as the chip leader at the moment, that won't worry him much.

Classic Cooler Preflop for "Phong"

Action started with "Phong" raising to 2,000 from early position, and action would fold around to "Allyoucaneat" in the cutoff.

He three-bet to 6,750, but when action folded around to "Phong" again, he would min-raise to 11,500.

"Allyoucaneat" would shove with two black kings, but they were no good, as "Phong" had the pocket rockets.

A full house would be dealt on the board, but the aces would still play over the kings. Unfortunately for "Phong," he just missed out on the bounty, but will surely be happy to secure the double.

Tournament Info on First Break

Since that chip count update post, there have been two knockouts. First, "Luckyduck" knocked out Jake “FerociousPanda” Toole, and not long after that, Ryan “Whosyourdoddy” Dodd would collect a bounty, and boost his stack into the chip lead.

Stay tuned for more updates coming shortly.

Level 3 Chip Count Updates

No knockouts yet so far in this Progressive knockout event, but there are a few players who are adding to their stack early. Michael "Gags30" Gagliano is the early chip leader, but he has plenty of stiff competition behind him early.
