Event #4: $12,000 GTD PKO Bounty Boost
Day 1 Started
The partypoker US Network Online PKO Series is upping the bounty action with Event #4: $12,000 GTD PKO Bounty Boost beginning Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Featuring a buy-in of $215, the Bounty Boost format is a take on Progressive Knockout Tournaments, with $50 of each player's investment going towards their bounty. Of that initial $50, 30% will be awarded anytime a player is knocked out, while the remaining 70% of the bounty will be added onto the player's head who did the deed. As a result, bounty values are certain to climb at a fast pace throughout the duration of the tournament.
Players begin with starting stacks of 30,000. Levels will last 10 minutes all tournament long, beginning at 150/300 with an ante of 40. Registration will be open for the first two hours of play, closing at the completion of Level 12 (1,600/3,200/400) at approximately 9:40 p.m. ET.
Anybody within the state of New Jersey may compete across any of the three platforms of partypoker US, Borgata Poker and BetMGM Poker.

In Level 5 with blinds of 400/800 and an ante of 100, Jon "Jetsfan411" Borenstein opened to 1,760 on the button and Brian “TopCreature” Sherrier three-bet to 6,620 in the big blind. Borenstein four-bet jammed and Sherrier called all in for just under 26,600.
Brian “TopCreature” Sherrier:
Jon "Jetsfan411" Borenstein:
Sherrier was poised for the double and the flop left him needing to fade only running nines in order to secure it. The turn locked up the double, leaving Borenstein drawing dead to the river to be left with just over 12,800.
Moments later, Borenstein got all in with against the "SAMCROW" and wound up with the second-best hand despite flopping a set of kings, as "SAMCROW" ended up making Broadway on the river to score the bounty and send Borenstein to re-enter.
