"piffmasterflex1" Gets Extinguished

In Level 11 with blinds of 1,400/2,800 and an ante of 350, action folded around to "piffmasterflex1" in the hijack, who opened to 9,800. "lulubid" defended their big blind and the flop came {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{9-Spades}.

"lulubird" checked and "piffmasterflex1" made an all-in continuation-bet of 19,800, just under the size of the pot. "lululubird" made the call.

"piffmasterflex1": {k-Spades}{q-Spades}
"lulubird1": {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}

"piffmasterflex1" had two overs and a flush draw but was currently behind the open-ended straight draw and pair of sixes that "lulubird" held. The turn {3-Clubs} changed nothing, and the river {j-Diamonds} was much the same to leave "lulubird" on top with their pair of sixes, earning them the pot and the knockout as a result.

Registration Halfway Over; "GlazedVision" Sees a Good Runout

"GlazedVision"
"GlazedVision"

The three-hour registration period is officially halfway over with Level 9 coming to a close; Level 10 has now begun with blinds of 1,200/2,400 and an ante of 300.

"GlazedVision" shoved for 28,900 under the gun and action folded around to the small blind, where "therenman" called all in for slightly less.

"therenman": {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
"GlazedVision": {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}

The flop came {2-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{a-Clubs} to give "GlazedVision" the three outer they needed to pull ahead. However, they still had 10 outs to fade between the remaining nine clubs in the deck as well as the case {9-Spades}. The turn {q-Diamonds} and river {8-Spades} bricked out and the pot was shipped to "GlazedVision," who earned a knockout to go along with it.

"stopcallinme" Triples; "TARA96" Gets the Bounty

"stopcallinme"
"stopcallinme"

In Level 8 with blinds of 800/1,600 and an ante of 200, "Rockhead_08" limped in early position and saw "cenation" limp in behind from middle position. "stopcallinme" was next to act in the hijack and shoved for their starting stack minus the ante they had already contributed.

"TARA96" was in the small blind and re-jammed to effectively put the rest of the table all in, and "Rockhead_08" called to bring about a three-way all-in situation.

"stopcallinme": {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
"Rockhead_08": {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
"TARA96": {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

"stopcallinme" was effectively in a coin flip with "Rockhead_08" while having "TARA96" dominated for a chance at a triple. The chance became a near-certainty after the flop came {3-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs} to give them top set. The turn {5-Hearts} ensured it, and the river {3-Hearts} completed the runout to give them a full house and score them the triple.

"Rockhead_08" covered "stopcallinme" by just over 6,000, and the side pot of 12,000 was won by "TARA96" along with the bounty to go with it. Despite the lost pot, their stack is now at 121,432 and they find themselves one of the top stacks in the tournament.

"Shotcaller777" Gets a Double

"Shotcaller777"
"Shotcaller777"

In Level 7 with blinds of 600/1,200 and an ante of 150, "Shotcaller777" raised to 2,400 under the gun and received calls from "Edsebo" in the hijack and "Bullsey8" on the button. The flop was {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and "Shotcaller777" checked. "Edsebo" made a minimum-bet of 1,200, and it was good to get a fold out of "Bullsey8."

Action was then back on "Shotcaller777," who check-jammed for 24,000. "Edsebo" thought for a few minutes and then clicked the call button to give themselves a chance at a bounty. Unfortunately for them, it didn't end up being much of a chance.

"Shotcaller777": {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}
"Edsebo": {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}

"Edsebo" had called with a pair of treys and found themselves with two outs. On the other side of things, "Shotcaller777's" middle pair was way out in front. Nothing changed as the turn {9-Spades} and river {2-Clubs} completed the runout and "Shotaller777" scored the dub with their pair of eights.

"states420" Takes the Chip Lead

"states420"
"states420"

In Level 5 with blinds of 400/800 and an ante of 100, Ryan "Whosyourdoddy" Dodd opened the action with a raise to 1,600 under the gun and received a call from "states420" in the hijack. "Payman" in the small blind and "fastmelody" in the big blind both called as well.

The four players saw the flop drop {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{4-Clubs} and three checks ensued to put action onto "states420," who fired 3,600. Only "fastmelody" called and action went heads up to the tun {q-Hearts}, where both players checked.

The river came {a-Clubs} and "fastmelody" checked once more. "states420" bet 10,800 and was quickly called to take the hand to showdown.

"states420" showed {a-Spades}{j-Hearts} for the nut trips. the hand proved to be good, as "fastmelody" mucked and the pot was sent their way, increasing their stack to over 137,527 to result in their taking the chip lead at this point in the tournament.

"POKERMANTIS" Gets the Double-Knockout

"POKERMANTIS"
"POKERMANTIS"

In Level 4 with blinds of 300/600 and an ante of 75, "POKERMANTIS" limped in under the gun and saw "Khoury1040" limp in on their direct left. Action folded around to "Jakelarsen2042" in the cutoff, who raised to 1,800. Action folded back to the two limpers and they both called, taking action three ways to a flop of {k-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}.

"POKERMANTIS" checked to put action onto "Khoury1040," who bet 6,975. "Jakelarsen2042" raised all in for 12,575 and "POKERMANTIS" put in a check-raise over that, figure, three-bet jamming for an effective 23,000 that "Khoury1040" had in their stack. A call was made and all three hands were shown.

"Jakelarsen2042": {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
"Khoury1040": {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
"POKERMANTIS": {2-Spades}{2-Hearts}

"POKERMANTIS" was way ahead with a set of deuces, needing to fade immediate Broadway outs in addition to running full house outs to score the double-knockout. The turn {6-Diamonds} and river {9-Spades} both complied and the pot was shipped their way to bring their stack over 90,000, earning half their buy-in back by way of two $5 bounties to go along with the pot.
