"golden13" Quintuples; No Bounties Earned in Four-Way All-In

"golden13"
"golden13"

In Level 8 with blinds of 800/1,600 and an ante of 200, "golden13" jammed for 12,100 in early position and was called by both "mrunicorn88" in the hijack and "PocketSomun" in the cutoff. "poflatland" jammed for around 800 more and then "King_Icon" cold four-bet jammed for 69,100 in the big blind. "mrunicorn88" folded and "PocketSomun" called.

"golden13": {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
"poflatland": {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
"King_Icon": {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
"PocketSomun": {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

"poflatland" saw themselves ahead and needing to only fade three overcards among their three opponents. Meanwhile, "golden13" needed to hit a three outer to find a quintuple. The flop {3-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{2-Spades} obliged, and the turn {j-Diamonds} left them sweating only the two remaining nines in the deck. The river came {5-Diamonds} to complete the runout and earn them the main pot.

Meanwhile, "poflatland" won the first side pot of a mere 2,356 and the second side pot was split between the two ace-king hands to result in no eliminations, and therefore not a single bounty being recorded from the four-way all-in preflop scenario.

Guaranteed Prize Pool Exceeded in Level Seven

Level 7 has now begun with blinds of 600/1,200 and an ante of 125. The three-hour registration period is one-third of the way through, and the number of players in the field has grown to 51, meaning the total prize pool is now $15,555. Over two hours of registration still remain, and the sky is the limit in terms of the final overall prize pool.

In the meantime, eight eliminations have occurred. Here's a look at those who have earned bounties, one of whom is the new chip leader "MyCousinVinny5".

No River, No Goods

"goods21"
"goods21"

In Level 6 with blinds of 500/1,000 and an ante of 125, "millertime4244" opened to 2,500 under the gun and action folded over to "goods21" in the hijack, who called. "Gohednpopoff" called behind in the cutoff, as did "NoRverNoFish" on the button, and action went four ways to a flop of {8-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{j-Spades}.

The first three players checked and "NoRverNoFish" put in a bet of 8,300. "millertime4244" folded to put action back onto "goods21," who check-jammed for 40,000. "Gohednpopoff" folded and "NoRverNoFish" called all in for less.

"NoRverNoFish": {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}
"goods21": {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

"goods21" had flopped the goods, while "NoRverNoFish" needed the board to pair in order to score the double. The turn {q-Spades} was meaningless other than bringing three counterfeit chop outs into the picture. "NoRverNoFish" found no help on the river {4-Hearts} and were eliminated from the tournament, with "goods21" earning a $100 bounty and bringing their stack up to 86,000.

"RiverMan" Makes Like Their Name

"RiverMan"
"RiverMan"

In Level 5 with blinds of 400/800 and an ante of 100, there was a six-way limped pot to a flop of {5-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts} that saw action check to "RiverMan" in early position, who bet 3,000. "mrunicorn" was next to act in middle position and "clicked it back," putting in a minimum-raise of 6,000. Action folded back to "RiverMan" and they called.

The turn was {j-Diamonds} and "RiverMan" checked. "mrunicorn88" bet 13,500 and "RiverMan" called, bringing the river {j-Hearts}. "RiverMan" led out with a bet of 18,700 and "mrunicorn88" called to take the hand to showdown.

"RiverMan" showed {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a rivered flush, good to earn them the pot upon "mrunicorn88" mucking. In total, over 82,000 was shipped to "RiverMan" and their stack is now over six figures.

"OpenJam"

In Level 4 with blinds of 300/600 and an ante of 75, preflop action saw "OpenJam" and "poflatland" commit 1,800 each under the gun and on the button, respectively. The flop came {8-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{2-Spades} and "OpenJam" checked. "poflatland" bet 2,500 and "OpenJam" called.

Both players checked the turn {8-Diamonds} to bring the river {5-Clubs} on board. "OpenJam" made a bet of 5,100 and "poflatland" called, taking the hand to showdown.

"OpenJam" showed {8-Clubs}{8-Spades} for quad eights and the pot of more than 20,000 was shipped their way.

"Amolg24" Raises the River for Value

"Amolg24"
"Amolg24"

In Level 2 with blinds of 200/400 and an ante of 50, there was 11,000 in the middle with action heads up between Brian "TopCreature" Sherrier in the big blind and "Amolg24," who was in the cutoff.

Sherrier fired out a bet of 7,400 on a board reading {3-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}, and "Amolg24" put in a raise to 22,200. Sherrier thought for a bit and eventually found a call.

"Amolg24" tabled {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for the nut flush and Sherrier did not have the one hand that could beat it. He mucked and the pot was shipped to "Amolg24," who finds themselves with one-and-a-half stacks after winning the hand.

Ryan Hagerty

In Level 1 with blinds of 150/300 and an ante of 40, "BOONYANI" opened the action with a raise to 660 in the cutoff and was three-bet to 1,620 by "poflatland," who was in the big blind.

The flop fell {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and "poflatland" made a continuation-bet of 1,835. "BOONYANI" called and the turn came {j-Diamonds}. "poflatland" continued again, betting 3,670. "BOONYANI" called once more.

The river was {9-Spades} and "poflatland" fired a third barrel for 7,340. "BOONYANI" thought for a bit and then made the call.

"poflatland" showed {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} for top pair, top kicker and "BOONYANI" mucked, unable to beat it, resulting in "poflatland" taking down the pot.

Meanwhile, Ryan "simISgg" Hagerty is off to a fast start. Hagerty eliminated both "MistaMenza" and "RiverMan" within the first four minutes of the tournament, with the latter of the two victims immediately re-entering again. Nonetheless, Hagerty is multiples above anybody else in the field with a stack of over 150,000 in the early minutes of the evening.
