Sherrier Bursts the Bubble, Shoots Down "datadon" in 16th (full)

"datadon"
"datadon"

In Level 23 with blinds of 10,000/20,000 and an ante of 2,500, "datadon" shoved in early position for 209,000 and was called by Brian "TopCreature" Sherrier in the cutoff. All remaining players folded.

"datadon": {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Brian "TopCreature" Sherrier: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

"datadon" found themselves drawing dead by the turn as the runout appeared {4-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Spades} and they became the 16th-place finisher as a result, bringing the number of players left in the tournament down to 15 to result in everybody remaining making it into the money.

Hand-For-Hand Play Begins

Mike "IIIIIIIIIIII" Haberman
Mike "IIIIIIIIIIII" Haberman

In Level 22 with blinds of 8,000/16,000 and an ante of 2,000, "anthonely" was just eliminated from the tournament to bring the number of players in the field down to 17, just two away from the money to bring about the beginning of hand-for-hand play.

Shortly after the beginning, both Ryan "TheSims" Hohner and Ross “Thehebrewhammer” Gottleib found doubles. Then, Mike “IIIIIIIIIIII” Haberman got their stack into the middle in a blind-versus-blind situation preflop in the small blind against "pay4medsch00l" in the big blind.

Mike “IIIIIIIIIIII” Haberman: {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}
"pay4medsch00l": {a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}

Haberman was flipping for his tournament life and was ahead on both the flop {10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and turn {10-Clubs}. Unfortunately for him, the river {7-Hearts} turned the tides and became the last card of his tournament life, bringing the field down to 16 as the official money bubble has arrived.

"anthonely" Wins a Flip To Double As Tournament Reaches Two Tables

"anthonely"
"anthonely"

In Level 21 with blinds of 7,000/14,000 and an ante of 1,750, "Donate_here" opened to 28,000 under the gun and saw action fold around to "anthonely," who was on the button and three-bet shoved for 121,000. "Donate_here" called.

"anthonely": {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}
"Donate_here": {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

"anthonely" needed to hold in order to stay alive and a queen-high runout of {q-Spades}{4-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} did nothing more than give them an added sweat on the river before the pot of 277,000 was shipped their way.

Meanwhile, "upayformypennys" was eliminated from an adjacent table to bring the field down to 19, and that number became 18 moments later when "chopuey" was eliminated by David "TheKing411" Coleman, who had a pot shipped his way with ace-king.

Hohner Doubles Through "upayformypennys"

Ryan Hohner
Ryan Hohner

In Level 21 with blinds of 7,000/14,000 and an ante of 1,750, Ryan "TheSims" Hohner jammed for 56,000 in the hijack and "upayformypennys" re-jammed for 127,000 in the small blind, folding out the big blind to result in hands being shown.

Ryan "TheSims" Hohner: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
"upayformypennys": {a-Clubs}{7-Spades}

Hohner found a small sweat as "upayformypennys" picked up a pair of sevens on the flop {3-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{9-Clubs}, but the turn {6-Diamonds} and river {4-Hearts} were safe to score him the double and bring him to a stack of around 12.5 big blinds.

Level 20 Eliminations

The last seconds of Level 20 have rolled off the clock and a handful of eliminations have occurred in the last few minutes of the level to bring the number of players in the tournament down to 21. Here's a look at the players who have recently fallen.

"IReadYrSoul" Cooked by Coleman

"TheKing411"
"TheKing411"

In Level 20 with blinds of 6,000/12,000 and an ante of 1,500, and "IReadYrSoul" three-bet jammed on their direct left for 153,000. Action folded back to Coleman and he called.

"IReadYrSoul": {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}
David "TheKing411" Coleman: {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

"IReadYrSoul" was way out in front but the flop favored Coleman, coming {9-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. The turn {10-Diamonds} brought four more outs for "IReadYrSoul" to stay alive with a backdoor gutshot to Broadway, but it all missed on the river {8-Spades} and they were eliminated from the tournament.

Shortly before their elimination, "reyd182," "goods21," and "rule22" were also eliminated, bringing the number of players in the field down to 25.

Complete Chip Counts on Break (full)

"Lanfeust" Bites the Dust

"Lanfeust"
"Lanfeust"

In Level 18 with blinds of 4,000/8,000 and an ante of 1,000, action folded around to "Lanfeust," who jammed for 67,000 on the button and was called by "MyCousinVinny5" in the small blind.

"Lanfeust": {k-Spades}{q-Spades}
"MyCousinVinny5": {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

"Lanfeust" had two live cards and hit one on the flop {7-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}. Unfortunately for them, all it did was take away one of their outs as the flop also brought a pair of aces for "MyCousinVinny5." The turn {8-Hearts} and river {4-Diamonds} kept the situation unchanged and "Lanfeust" saw their remaining chips sent in another direction, resulting in their elimination from the tournament.
