"mouse13" Hot Out of the Gate

In Level 1 with blinds of 150/300 and an ante of 40, "sri100k" opened to 600 in the hijack and received calls from "mouse13" on the button and "mooseman1710," who defended their big blind.

The flop came {3-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{7-Spades} and "mooseman1710" checked. "sri100k" made a continuation-bet of 1,100 and "mouse13" called. "mooseman1710" folded, taking action heads up to the turn {4-Spades}. "sri100k" continued, firing a second barrel for 3,300. "mouse13" called once more.

The river fell {7-Hearts} and "sri100k" clicked the check button. "mouse13" thought for a couple of moments before putting in a bet of 5,500. The wager proved to be too rich for "sri100k," who folded to result in "mouse13" taking down the pot without showdown. The pot was the second of the day for "mouse13" in the early minutes of the event, and they sit atop the leaderboard with a stack just above 60,000.

"Slapshot1085" Gets Showered

"Slapshot1085"
"Slapshot1085"

In Level 2 with blinds of 200/400 and an ante of 60, there was 4,500 in the middle on the turn with a board of {9-Spades}{k-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades} displayed. Action was heads up, with "Slapshot1085" checking in the big blind and facing a bet of 2,800 from "MistaMenza," who was in the cutoff.

"Slapshot1085" check-raised to 9,300 and "MistaMenza" put in a three-bet to 26,600. "Slapshot1085" shoved for just over 27,000 and "MistaMenza" called off the last bit to result in hands being tabled.

"Slapshot1085": {k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
"MistaMenza": {5-Spades}{4-Spades}

"MistaMenza" had turned a flush and needed to fade the four outer in order to knock out "Slapshot1085" after they turned top and bottom pair. The river came {9-Clubs} and "MistaMenza" saw the pot shipped their way for the flush to eliminate "Slapshot1085" from the tournament.

Hello, "SCHRISH," and Goodbye

"SCHRISH"
"SCHRISH"

In Level 4 with blinds of 300/600 and an ante of 75, "sri100k" limped in early position and was raised to 3,300 by "mouse13" on their direct left. "eddie13" called in the hijack and action folded around to "SCHRISH" in the big blind, who three-bet to 6,300.

"sri100k" folded to put action back onto "mouse13," who four-bet to 51,300. "eddie11" folded and "SCHRISH" called all in for an ante shy of 50,000.

"SCHRISH": {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
"mouse13": {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}

"SCHRISH" found their second-best starting hand up against the one hand that was ahead of it. A ten-high runout of {10-Hearts}{3-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{6-Hearts} changed nothing and they were eliminated from the tournament. Meanwhile, "mouse13" now has 136,000 and finds themselves atop the leader board.

"Monkee" Holds for the Dub

"Monkee"
"Monkee"

In Level 5 with blinds of 400/800 and an ante of 100, "MistaMenza" raised to 2,000 in early position and received a call from "Monkee" in middle position. Both "alwaysliquid" in the small blind and "Gman6260" in the big blind also came along, and four players saw the flop drop {q-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{3-Clubs}.

Action checked to "MistaMenza," who made a continuation-bet of 3,650. "Monkee" piled in 27,200 over the top, an all-in bet that saw "alwaysliquid" check-raise all in over the top for 45,000 to fold out both remaining players.

"Monkee": {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
"alwaysliquid": {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

"Monkee" needed to fade Broadway and nut-flush outs, and the turn {10-Hearts} added two more tens to that tally. However, the river {q-Spades} was safe and the main pot of almost 67,000 was sent their way as a result.
