Registration Closes, Prize Pool Information Finalized

The three-plus hour late registration period has officially come and gone, and the numbers for Event #5 have been finalized. A total of 289 players generated a prize pool of $5,202 (Main Prize Pool: $3,757; Bounty Prize Pool: $1,445). Forty-two players remain and 30 will make it into the money.

A first-level payout is good for $24.42 and prizes will escalate from there until the eventual winner earns $883.02 plus bounties. Complete prize pool information can be found in the Payouts Tab.

"Stonniepokes" Gets a Double KO Before Registration Closes

In Level 18 with blinds of 4,000/8,000 and an ante of 1,000, "Stonniepokes" raised to 16,000 in early position and received a call from "Cptjb23" in middle position. "Kazzz" went all in for 25000 in the hijack and action folded around to "Fastrayjr19," who called in the big blind.

The flop came and "Fastrayjr19" checked. "Stonniepokes" fired 28,250 into the side pot and "Cptjb23" raised all in for 124,000. "Fastrayjr19" quickly folded and "Stonniepokes" just as quickly called.

In Level 13 with blinds of 1,800/3,600 and an ante of 450, "Action61" jammed for 18,000 under the gun and saw Anthony "Flawlessbinkage" Maio shove for 28,000. Action folded back to "Mikethebutcher" in the big blind, who thought for a bit before calling.
