The partypoker US Network Online Series is back and it is a special one, as the highly-anticipated "Players Choice Series" kicks-off today.
The series consists of eight tournaments that were voted upon by players and tonight PokerNews coverage of Event #1: $109 1/2 PRICE NLH ($35K GTD) begins at 5:00 p.m. ET.
Anybody within the state of New Jersey may get in on the action across any of the three platforms of partypoker US, Borgata Poker and BetMGM Poker.
The buy-in for tonight's $35k GTD event is at a half-priced discount ($109) and gives players 75,000 chips to start with.
Unlimited entries/re-entries are available through the first 18 levels of play and blind levels will are 12 minutes in length for the duration of the tournament.

The clock has struck 5:00 p.m. ET and play has officially begun in Level 1 of the partypoker US Network Online Poker Players Choice Series.
Blinds are 150/300 with an ante of 40, and 57 players are in their virtual seats to start the event. Registration will remain open for three hours of play, closing at the end of Level 18.

In Level 1 with blinds of 150/300 and an ante of 40, "stevenmadara" raised to 777 from middle position and only "Rickgs" called from the cutoff.
The flop was checked by both players to the turn where "stevenmadara" bet 750, and then called the 1,500 raise from "Rickgs".
The appeared on the river putting a straight on the board and "stevenmadara" quickly fired out 12,345. "Rickgs" called and both players table dtheir hands.
"stevenmadara" was playing the board after rolling over the missed diamond draw while "Rickgs" showed to win the hand with a seven-high straight.

In Level 2 with blinds of 200/400 and an ante of 60, "gmackingtd" raised to 1,000 from under the gun and had found three callers before the flop appeared.
Action was checked to "gmackingtd" who continued for 2,480 and only "Zdvol632" called to see the turn.
Both players checked and the completed the board on the river. "gmackingtd" fired out 9,500 and "Zdvol632" quickly called bringing action to showdown.
"gmackingtd" rolled over for ace-high while "Zdvol632" showed , winning the pot with a made hand of tens.

In Level 4 with blinds at 300/600 (75 ante), "KevinDurant" raised to 1,200 from under the gun and Jaime "mooseman1710" Reyes three-bet to 5,400 from the small blind.
The big blind got out of the way and action was back on "KevinDurant" who jammed for 41,681. Reyes snap-called and both players tabled their hands.

In Level 5 with blinds at 400/800 (100 ante), Jake “FerociousPanda” Toole opened for 1,760 from under the gun and had two callers before "epdawg5" three-bet to 7,400 from the big blind.
Toole Mucked his hand along with "FooQuan" from the small blind after "DonkyKing" called from the hijack.
Once the flop appeared, "epdawg5" continued for 8,800 and "DonkyKing" quickly mucked their hand.
