Tuesday night brings Event #3 of the Partypoker US Network Online Series: $15k GTD 40-Stack NLH, featuring a start time of 8 p.m. ET, a buy-in of $215, and a new tournament structure.
The 40-Stack event gives players 40,000 to start and begins with the first 40 minutes consisting of blinds at 500/1,000/125 over the course of eight identical, five-minute levels. From there, levels increase to 8 minutes apiece for the duration of the tournament. Late registration is available with unlimited re-entries until the end of Level 18 at approximately 10:10 p.m. ET.
Registration is already open for everybody in the state of New Jersey across the three platforms of partypoker US, Borgata Poker and BetMGM Poker.
PokerNews will be bringing you coverage from as soon as play begins until one player has claimed all the chips. Be sure to stick around and see who comes out on top.
Level 1 is underway with blinds of 500/1,000 and an ante of 125 and 27 players have already registered. The first 40 minutes will all remain with this level, meaning a starting stack is good for 40 big blinds during the entirety of that time.

With blinds of 500/1,000 and an ante of 125, Don "dhimp20" Himpele opened to 2,000 under the gun and action folded around to Jaime "mooseman1710" Reyes, who called on the button. Both blinds also called to take postflop action four ways, and all four players checked the flop .
The turn came and both blinds checked again. Himpele bet 3,000 and Reyes called. The two players watched both blinds fold and then proceeded to check through the river to take the hand to showdown.
Himpele showed for a pair of kings, which was bested by Reyes' top pair to earn him the pot. After dipping below starting stack early, Reyes now has slightly over 40,000.

With blinds of 500/1,000 and an ante of 125, Ryan "TheSims" Hohner found himself down to 14,600 and open-jammed from the hijack. "LondonE13" re-jammed for 28,000 in the cutoff and all remaining players folded.
Ryan "TheSims" Hohner:
"LondonE13":
Hohner pulled ahead and seemed as if he would win the coin flip as the flop and turn came, but the river gave "LondonE13" a full house and left Hohner dry on chips as a result. He immediately re-entered and was given the same seat he occupied, resulting in him not missing a single hand despite being knocked out.
