Double Up for "Cholie"

Blinds: 5,000/10,000

Short stack "Cholie" moved all in for his final ten big blinds or so, and Yong “IReadYrSoul” Kwon put him at risk holding {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}. He was slightly behind the {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}, and Kwon was never able to catch up, as the board ran down {j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Spades}{4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}.

Just 21 players remain now, meaning hand-for-hand play will start shortly.

Updated Chip Counts (full)

Just 23 players remain now, which means the money bubble will be here shortly. In the meantime, here are all the players still alive vying for this title. Amazingly, Ryan “simlSgg” Hagerty, who has won the last two events of this series, is the current chip leader with over 650,000.

Double Up for Mike “MistaMenza” Menzer

Blinds: 3,500/7,000

Action folded around to Mike “MistaMenza” Menzer in the small blind, and he moved all in for his final 120,000 or so. In the big blind, "savante10" made the call with pocket fives. However, he was dominated by the {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} of Menzer.

The board ran down {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{j-Spades}, and the kings secured a big pot for Menzer, who doubled up to nearly 270,000.

Level 18 Chip Count Updates

Just 32 players remain now, and you can see the top 10 chip stacks below. Once we get down to the final four tables, 24 players, we will post a full list of chip counts for everyone still in.

Haberman Finds a Double Up

Michael Haberman
Michael Haberman

Blinds: 3,000/6,000

After "hoysrevenge13" raised on the button, Michael “IIIIIIIIIIIII” Haberman moved all in for his final 90,000 or so. "hoysrevenge13" called with {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}, but he was dominated by the {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} of Haberman.

The board ran down {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{5-Spades}{6-Spades}, and Haberman scored a double up to get up to nearly 190,000.

"ndirish50" Vaults Into the Chip Lead

Blinds: 1,800/3,600

On one of the last hands before registration closed, "Nickpezz89" raised to 8,500 on the button. Next to act, "ndirish50" three bet it to over 25,000. Back to "Nickpezz89", he would four bet shove for about 150,000, and "ndirish50" quickly called with {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}. He was in good shape against the {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds} of "Nickpezz89", and the big slick would hold on a low runout of {8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}.

ndirish50 has since added to that lead, and is the first player to crack the half a million chip marker.

Final Payouts for Event #7

The final prizepool for today's 6-Max Event totalled $30,800. That money will be handed out to the final three tables of players, 18 total. The min cash will be $616, and first place will take home $8,008.

Check out the picture below for a full breakdown of the payouts, or look in the payouts tab shortly for all of the info.

The Big Stacks As Registration Closes

Registration has officially closed in this event with 154 players total. The payouts will be posted shortly, but in the meantime, these are the top 10 stacks of the 46 remaining players.

"POKERTORR" Busts Lupo

Blinds: 1,800/3,600

"POKERTORR" limped in from under the gun, and in the small blind, Daniel “centrfieldr23” Lupo moved his short stack of around 18,000 all in. "POKERTORR" made the call with {a-Spades}{9-Spades}, and he was ahead of Lupo's {q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}. The flop of {9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} meant that Lupo would need a queen or running cards to survive. The {10-Spades} turn was one of those cards, but a third deuce on the river gave "POKERTORR" a full house for the win.

Registration hasn't closed yet, so Lupo is likely to re-enter in this final level.

Checking in on Ryan “simlSgg” Hagerty

As mentioned in the intro, Ryan “simlSgg” Hagerty is going for an unheard of third title in as many nights in this series, after winning over $13,000 in the previous two nights. As registration is nearing it's close, Hagerty finds himself in the middle of the pack with over 93,000. He has a tough seat at the moment, with Anthony “Flawlessbinkage” Maio and big stack "Core4" on his direct left, but that probably doesn't bother Hagerty too much at the moment.

Stay tuned to find out if Hagerty can cash, and possible win, yet another event here in this partypoker series!
