"NoRverNoFish" Done In By the Turn; Three Tables Remain

In Level 23 with blinds of 7,000/14,000 and an ante of 1,750, "NoRverNoFish" found themselves all in on the button for their last handful of big blinds and were up against "ghoul," who was under the gun.

"NoRverNoFish": {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
"ghoul": {a-Spades}{7-Spades}

Despite no ace coming on the runout {7-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}, "NoRverNoFish" was unable to fade their opponent's turned trip sevens and were eliminated from the tournament in 26th place.

Moments later, "chaposticks" was eliminated in 25th place to bring about the end of the first round of payouts. Twenty-four players now remain across three full tables of eight.

Dodd Doubles

Ryan Dodd
Ryan Dodd

In Level 23 with blinds of 7,000/14,000 and an ante of 1,750, Ryan "Whosyourdoddy" Dodd three-bet jammed on the button for 300,000 over an open from "Chasethiz26," who was in the hijack. "Chasethiz26": called.

"Chasethiz26": {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Ryan "Whosyourdoddy" Dodd: {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}

Dodd went from a coin flip to having his opponent drawing slim as the flop {3-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{q-Clubs} appeared. The turn {7-Clubs} gave him a flush and left "Chasethiz26" drawing dead to the river {7-Diamonds}, leaving "Chasethiz26" with only a few big blinds as the pot of more than 600,000 was sent Dodd's way.

"Chasethis26" and Borgata Ambassador Daniel Buzgon Among Second Round of Payouts

"Chasethiz26":
"Chasethiz26":

In Level 24 with blinds of 8,000/16,000, "Chasethiz26" got the last of their chips in from the small blind and received action from "dhimp20," who was in the hijack.

"Chasethiz26": {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
"dhimp20": {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

"Chasethiz26" was dominated but found four extra outs on the flop {6-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}. Unfortunately for them, they would get no closer as the turn {7-Hearts} and river {8-Spades} completed the runout to leave their king-high no good. They finished the tournament in 22nd place.

"POKERDORMS" was knocked out shortly thereafter, and the pair also joined "joeyh1935" and Borgata Ambassador Daniel "leinad" Buzgon as the 21st-24th place finishers in the tournament, earning themselves paydays of $386 for their efforts.

David "TheKing411" Coleman Talks About Big partypoker US Network WPT Online Poker Open Win

At the beginning of July, the partypoker US Network in New Jersey reached a sizzling conclusion when the WPT Online Poker Open, which combined fields from partypoker US, Borgata Poker and BetMGM Poker crowned a winner. The Main Event drew a field of 868 entries, generating a lofty $317,540 prize pool which surpassed its $300k guarantee. It marked the largest ever event for the New Jersey online poker network surpassing the $302,100 prize pool for the $320 buy-in partypoker US Network $250K GTD back on March 29.

In the end, it was David "TheKing411" Coleman who emerged victorious for a payday of $56,586. In addition to the first-place prize, he also earned a WPT Championship Trophy and an $11,000 prize package which includes entry into the next WPT in-person live event, the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic, which will take place at Bellagio in Las Vegas ($10,400 buy-in), as well as $600 in cash towards travel expenses.

David Coleman spoke to PokerNews about the win.

"kgkg510" Gets a Miracle Runout

On the last hand of Level 24 (8,000/16,000/2,000), "Doni34" and "kgkg510" wound up all in preflop in the cutoff and on the button, respectively for an overall pot of 577,000. "kgkg510" was at risk.

"kgkg510": {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
"Doni34": {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

"kgkg510" was in trouble and their situation got worse on the flop {10-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{k-Hearts}. Faced with nothing but running outs, they found Broadway as the turn {a-Spades} and river {j-Clubs} completed the runout to keep them alive. "Doni34" was left with 137,000 after the hand and blinds went up, leaving them with around seven big blinds for the beginning of the next hand.

Earlier in the level, "ELITEMALESSO," "ndirish50," and "Glive" were not as fortunate. The trio of eliminations brings the field down to 17, just one away from reaching the final two tables.

In Level 25 with blinds of 10,000/20,000 and an ante of 2,500, "Doni34" got their last 136,000 into the middle under the gun and received action from "Ghoul," who was in the big blind.

"Doni34": {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}
"ghoul": {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}

"Doni34" was unable to hit a three outer as the board ran out {k-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs} and they were eliminated from the tournament in 17th place.

Two full tables now remain, and updated counts have been provided for all remaining players, with "Gohednpopoff" being the newest player to have shot up the leader board with a stack of over 2.7 million.

Brian Sherrier

On the last hand of Level 25 (10,000/20,000/2,500), a three-way all-in ensued between "Unsure" in the small blind, Brian "TopCreature" Sherrier on the button, and David "TheKing411" Coleman in the big blind. Sherrier had a shot at a triple, while Coleman covered both "Unsure" and Sherrier.

Brian “TopCreature” Sherrier: {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}
"Unsure": {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
David "TheKing411" Coleman: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

Coleman's shot at a double knockout was spoiled on the turn as the runout came {q-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{5-Spades}{6-Hearts}{q-Spades} to give "Unsure" a full house and score them both pots, eliminating Sherrier in 16th place along the way.

Meanwhile, "steveeee" doubled through "jbodey5288" on the adjacent table simultaneously, winning a coin flip with ace-jack to pocket eights to bring both players to nearly even stacks of around 360,000.

Moments later as Level 26 Began with blinds of 12,000/24,000 and an ante of 3,000, "jbodey5288" got all in preflop again with ace-king to the pocket jacks of Michael “IIIIIIIIIIIII” Haberman and was unable to hit, resulting in their elimination from the tournament in 15th place.

David Coleman
David Coleman

In Level 26 with blinds of 12,000/24,000 and an ante of 3,000, David "TheKing411" Coleman found himself down to just two big blinds and shoved in the hijack. "joey1way" called in the big blind.

David "TheKing411" Coleman: {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
"joey1way": {k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}

Neither player hit much of anything as the runout came {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{4-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Coleman's hand remained second best, resulting in his elimination from the tournament. Moments earlier, "BwanaNJ" was also knocked out. The two eliminations completes another round of payouts, good for $518, and the 12 remaining players have now all locked up at least $648.
