Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante
Nick Angelo
Nick Angelo

The cutoff player opened for 1,200 and the button player called. Action was on Nick Angelo who three-bet jammed from the small blind for 10,800. The cutoff player called for less and the button player came along holding more chips than both opponents.

Cutoff Player: {a-Spades}{7-Spades}
Button Player: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Nick Angelo: {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

Angelo held the best with a made hand of eights but the [9cqcqod] flop gave the button player staright outs.

The {a-Diamonds} fell on the turn to put Angelo way behind as he needed any eight or jack to stay alive.

Angelo indeed had his prayer answered as the river fell the {j-Clubs} to give him the staright to take down the pot.
