Welcome to the second starting flight of the very popular Big Stax poker series here at Parx Casino in Bensalem, Pennsylvania as Big Stax XXXI 300 is set to get underway at 11 a.m local time. Yesterday saw a total of 308 entries come out for the first starting flight and at the end of the night, only 34 players found a bag for Day 2.

Leading the Day 1a players was Po Ying, who bagged a massive 835,000 by night's end. Second in chips was Eliano Mesquita (783,500). Both Ying and Mesquita sat at the same table together for majority of the evening, with Mesquita catching a massive double up from Ying, catapulting him to the top.

Another player who who continuously built his stack through the Day 1a crowed was Eric Lawton, who bagged third in chips with (552,000) by the end of the night, withTony Meza (480,000) and Patrick McComas (475,500) rounding out the top five stacks.

Some noticable players that that found a bag and advanced to Day 2 include Anthony Tonzelli (404,000), Gregory Fishberg (336,000), Judy Bielan (329,000), Dan DaConti (242,500), and Joe Palma (171,000).

Parx Big Stax XXXI 300 Outlook

Today's starting flights will kicks off at 11 a.m. All starting flights will play through Level 15. The surviving players from each flight will combine for Day 2 action on Sunday, September 29, with the final table set to play out on Monday, September 30

The tournament will start players with 30,000 in chips with blinds lasting 45-minute for the starting flights. Day 2 will see levels upped to 60 minutes, while the final table will see them increase to 90 minutes.

15-minute breaks will occur after levels 3, 6 and 12 on each Day 1 with a 75-minute dinner break at 6:30 p.m. It is an unlimited re-entry and best-stack-forward event. Late registration and re-entry will be available until Level 17 begins.

The tournament will be held in Parx East (3rd floor) for each Day 1 and Day 2. The final day will take place in the poker room in the main casino.

The {j-Spades} came on the turn and Williams did a double-take at her cards before tossing out 23,000 that was called by Serebrinskiy.
