On a flop, Katie Nguyen checked from the big blind, the under-the-gun player bet 15,000, and the player on the direct left called.
Nguyen put in the check-raise to 55,000, and both opponents folded. Nguyen is surging at the end of Day 1a and looks to be in good position to end the night as one of the big stacks in the field.
