The third of four Day 1 flights has wrapped up in the Parx Big Stax 300, and Day 1c drew a total of 404 entries to Parx Casino in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. The field trimmed down to 75 by night's end.
After a night of 14 45-minute levels, several players bagged big. Those names include Gregory Fishburg (426,500), Val Parkhimovich (296,500), Nicholas Skyllas (290,500) and Qi Tim Ha (282,500).
With three Day 1 flights complete, the surviving players from Friday's Day 1c will join the survivors of Day 1a and 1b, and await the results of Saturday's Day 1d flight. By Saturday night's end, the Day 2 field will be decided, and those survivors from the four Day 1 flights will come back as a combined field for Day 2 Sunday.
Others putting chips in the bag at the end of the night include Daniel Ciancio (269,500), Jerard Chow (261,000) and Boris Kromas (214,000).
The Parx Big Stax 300 has drawn more than 1,2000 entries so far, with Day 1d still to come. Late registration in this unlimited re-entry event is available through the beginning of Level 16, which is the second level of play on Sunday's Day 2.
