Justin Mills
Justin Mills

Maxim Urvantsev opened to 40,000 from early position, and Justin Mills, on the small blind and with a short stack in the big blind, three-bet all in, having both Urvantsev and the big blind well covered.

Urvantsev made the call for his 260,000 total stack.

Maxim Urvantsev: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Justin Mills: {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

Board: {4-Clubs}{8-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

Mills was behind preflop but found the {7-Diamonds} on the turn, and the pair of sevens held up through the river, sending Urvantsev to the rail.

Birthday Boy Ciorciari Staying Alive

Level 21 : 8,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Alessio Ciorciari told PokerNews that today is his birthday, and despite being short stacked most of the day, he's still hanging in and climbing the payout ladded.

He added a few much-needed chips in a recent hand that saw him open shove for 158,000 from early position. Action folded to Boris Kromas, who thought things over for awhile in the small blind, then folded.

The big blind followed suit, and Ciorciari took down the pot uncontested.

Nguyen checked the {9-Hearts} river, Fishberg bet 74,000, and Nguyen called. Fishberg turned over {k-Spades}{j-Spades}, while Nguyen tabled {a-Spades}{9-Spades}, with the nine playing for a pair and the win.
