Kings Win Small Pot for Baldwin

Eric "basebaldy" Baldwin raised preflop and was called by the player in the small blind. After the flop came down {A-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds}, both players checked.

The turn brought the {5-Spades} and the small blind bet 1,250. Baldwin made the call.

The river was the {5-Clubs} and both players checked again. The small blind revealed the {10-Diamonds} {10-Clubs}, but was second best to Baldwin's {K-Diamonds} {K-Clubs}. Baldwin's up to 32,000.

Levy Springs a Leak

Roothlus
Roothlus
We caught up to this hand a bit late, but we managed to join as the dealer was putting the turn card down on a board reading {4-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {4-Spades} {7-Clubs}. An unknown player had the betting lead, and he fired 3,075 chips at the pot. Adam "Roothlus" Levy was the other player in the hand, and he didn't waste too much time making the call.

The last card off was the {9-Diamonds}, and the aggressor stuck a big stack of 20,000 chips into the middle, enough to put Roothlus to a decision for the rest of his own chips. Levy had about 13,000 left to work with, and he eventually decided folding was the most prudent course of action, sending his cards back to the dealer and saving his remaining chips for a better spot.

A Blah Day for Pagano

One player checked the flop of {K-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} {3-Hearts} to Team PokerStars Pro Luca Pagano. Pagano fired 2,300. He was called by the third player that saw the flop while the first player folded.

The turn brought the {5-Spades} and Pagano checked. His opponent checked behind.

The river completed the board with the {A-Diamonds} and Pagano checked again. His opponent snap-checked right behind him and then immediately tabled top two pair with the {A-Spades} {K-Diamonds}. Pagano mucked and slipped to 20,000.

Seat Open

The chairs that used to belong to Alexander Kostritsyn and Yevgeniy Timoshenko are both now empty. A quick scan around the room sees them absent, and we're pretty certain both men were knocked out before the last break.

Lars-Lose-ak

An under-the-gun player limped in before Sami "LarsLuzak" Kelopuro raised to 1,100. The cutoff seat called and then the limper came along as well.

The flop produced the {Q-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {7-Clubs} and action checked to Kelopuro. He fired 2,300. The cutoff quickly raised to 5,200 and the limper got out of the way. Kelopuro quickly followed suit and slipped to 31,750.

"You guys blogging?"

Will 'The Thrill' Failla
Will 'The Thrill' Failla
Asked Will 'The Thrill' Failla of two of our field reporters.

A pair of nods and a quick probe into Failla's day at the table prompted the following rant:

"I just had kings into f*cking aces... is that any f*cking thing?" belted Failla.

"I just lost 80 f*cking k."
