Deeb Advance to Final Table After Hitting Back-to-Back Aces

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Alex Wice put in a raise from the button only to have Shaun Deeb reraise to 7,000 from the big blind. It was back on Wice and he decided to make it 15,000 total, which Deeb called. The dealer flopped {2-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}, Deeb checked, Wice bet 13,100, Deeb moved all in for 53,000, and Wice called.

Deeb: {A-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Wice: {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}

Wice's wired pair of kings was good but Deeb had a plethora of outs. Wouldn't you know it, the dealer burned and turned one of his outs, the {A-Diamonds}! Wise was reduced to just the {K-Diamonds} on the river if he hoped to eliminate Deeb. Luckily for Deeb, it came the {10-Clubs} and he doubled to around 137,000.

A few hands later, Deeb raised enough to put his opponent all in preflop and Wice made the call.

Deeb: {A-Spades}{2-Diamonds}
Wice: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

Deeb needed some major help as Wice had managed to pick up another pocket pair. The {A-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} flop provided Deeb with what he needed and the board ran out the {3-Hearts} and {2-Clubs}. Just like that, Deeb eliminated Wice and won Table Two to advance to the PCA Bounty Shootout final table.
