Polychronopoulos Eliminatedopoulos

Athanasios Polychronopoulos
Athanasios Polychronopoulos

Athanasios Polychronopoulos had just gotten super duper crippled down to his last few thousand chips by Nicolas Fierro before putting his last 3,500 in the middle from under the gun. Action then folded to Nick Yunis and he raised to 9,500 from the hijack seat. In the big blind was Chris McClung and he three-bet to 26,000. Yunis took some time and then called.

The flop came down {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and McClung bet 30,000. Yunis called while all Polychronopoulos could do was look on and await his fate.

The turn was the {3-Spades} and McClung fired again, making a bet of 50,000. Yunis gave it up after some time in the tank and McClung was first awarded the side pot. He then turned up the {A-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} to go against the {10-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for Polychronopoulos.

The river completed the board with the {A-Spades} and McClung's two pair was the winner to eliminate Polychronopoulos from the tournament.
