Koon Out-Flips Neuville and Takes Chip Lead

Jason Koon has just stormed to the chip lead thanks to winning a big 250,000-chip pot out-flipping Team PokerStars Pro Pierre Neuville.

Action first folded to fellow Team Pro Barry Greenstein in the cutoff seat and he raised to 7,000. In the small blind, Neuville made the call before Koon was to act in the big blind. He squeezed in a three-bet and made it 23,000 to go. Greenstein folded and then Neuville reraised all in for around 120,000. Koon snapped.

Neuville: {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}
Koon: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}

Koon took the lead on the {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} flop, hitting top two pair. The turn was the {9-Spades} and the river the {6-Hearts}. The river was close, but not the five that Neuville needed and he was eliminated. Koon stacked up the chips and moved to over 430,000.
