Lichtenberger Takes One

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

Nicolas Fierro opened from under the gun, 2011 World Series of Poker Main Event Champion and Team PokerStars Pro Pius Heinz three-bet to 1,450 near the button, and Andrew Lichtenberger cold four-bet to 3,250 from the small blind. The big blind released, Fierro called, and Heinz tanked before getting out of the way.

The flop fell {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades}, and both players checked. Lichtenberger led after the {j-Diamonds} turned, betting 4,000, and Fierro quickly called. The {7-Clubs} completed the board, and both players checked again. Lichtenberger rolled over {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for a pair of queens, Fierro mucked, and Lichtenberger won the pot.
