The Four-Card Flop

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante
The four-card flop.
The four-card flop.

Elio Fox called a four-bet from Harrison Gimbel preflop, and the flop fell {6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}.

Or so we thought.

Before there was any action, Kevin MacPhee noticed that there was a fourth card under the {6-Diamonds}. The dealer slid the card down, and revealed the hidden card - the {9-Clubs}. A floor person was called to the table, and upon arrival they informed the dealer that all four cards are to be washed, and then a random card will be drawn, and mucked.

"Wait," Tom Marchese piped up. "That's the rule?"

The floor person nodded, washed the cards, and pulled out the {6-Clubs}. Harrison Gimbel led out, and Elio Fox quickly folded.

"I've never seen that before," Gimbel admitted after the hand.
