Seiver Left Shaking His Head On The River

Level 20 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Nick Schulman limped from the small blind with {9-Spades}{5-Spades} and Scott Seiver checked his option from the big with {8-Hearts}{4-Spades}. The {8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop saw Schulman check-call a bet of 110,000 with his pair of fives, and then he checked the {7-Hearts} turn. Seiver was ahead with a pair of eights and promptly fired out 225,000. Schulman went into the tank.

Eventually he made the call, and then both players checked the {9-Clubs} river. Seiver confidently said he had a pair, and then Schulman showed him that he had rivered a winning two pair. Upon seeing the cards, Seiver simply shook his head in disbelief.

Katz Fades Schulman; Doubles Again

Nick Schulman opened to 160,000 on the button with {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}, Cary Katz defended from the big blind with {6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, and the flop fell {7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. Katz checked, Schulman fired 210,000, and Katz moved all in. Schulman quickly called.

The turn was red, but the {2-Hearts} didn't hit Schulman. The river was also red, but again the {7-Hearts} was a brick.

Katz doubled to 2.37 million, while Schulman dropped to 2.37 million.

The Old Five-Deuce For Sands

David "Doc" Sands hasn't been afraid to mix it up with a wide range of hands, which was just evidenced when he raised to 165,000 on the button with {5-Spades}{2-Spades}. Scott Seiver defended from the big blind with {K-Clubs}{6-Spades}, and then both players checked the {5-Clubs}{7-Spades}{J-Clubs} flop.

The {3-Spades} turn gave Sands a flush draw to go along with his pair of fives, and he promptly bet 180,000. Seiver called and then both players returned to checking on the {7-Clubs} river. Sands tabled his hand for two pair and took down the pot.

Katz & Sands Chuck Big Hands

Cary Katz opened for 175,000 under the gun for 175,000 with {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} and received a call from David "Doc" Sands, who held {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} on the button. Nick Schulman then looked down at {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds} in the small blind and three-bet to 515,000.

Surprisingly a short-stacked Katz folded, and Sands followed suit and tossed his pocket pair. Ship the pot to Schulman.

Sands Takes a Chunk from Seiver

Level 20 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Scott Seiver opened to 160,000 on the button with unknown holdings. David "Doc" Sands defended from the big blind with {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}, and the flop fell {j-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{7-Spades}. Sands checked, Seiver fired 275,000, and Sands called.

The turn was the {4-Hearts}, Sands checked again, and Seiver checked behind.

The {10-Diamonds} completed the board, Sands checked a third time, and Seiver fired 400,000. Sands tanked for the better part of a minute, then called. Seiver showed {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} for ace-high, and Sands raked in the pot.
