Katz's Nine Lives

Cary Katz moved all in for 710,000 on the button with {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, and Nick Schulman immediately called in the big blind with {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}.

The flop fell {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{9-Spades}, giving Schulman two pair, but Katz had a straight draw. The turn was the {3-Spades} - no help to Katz - but the {j-Clubs} spiked on the river, giving him the straight!

Katz shot back in his chair at the sight of the card, and doubled to 1.5 million chips.
