Kenney Busts Just Before Break

Bryn Kenney - Eliminated
Bryn Kenney - Eliminated

Bryn Kenney opened from under the gun, Greg Jensen called on the button, and the dealer fanned {8-Spades}{q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}. Kenney checked, Jensen tossed out 10,000, and Kenney check-raised all in for around 43,000. Jensen snap-called.

Jensen: {10-Spades}{9-Spades}
Kenney: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}

Jensen flopped the nuts, and held as the turn and river came {k-Hearts}, {4-Diamonds} respectively. Kenney is eliminated, while Jensen moves close to the chip lead.

Selbst Soaring

Vanessa Selbst
Vanessa Selbst

Sam Stein opened to 4,500, Vanessa Selbst called in position, and the flop fell {6-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts}. Stein led out for 5,700, and Selbst called.

The turn was the {3-Clubs}, Stein led again - this time for 12,700 - and Selbst called.

The {a-Spades} completed the board, and Stein fired one last bullet worth 20,000. Selbst called, and Stein started to muck his hand.

Selbst tabled {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}, and Stein tossed his hand into the muck.

Newey Gets A Taste Of The Big Cheese

Tom Marchese opened for 4,800 from the cutoff and Paul Newey defended from the big blind. The {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{A-Diamonds} flop saw the latter check-call a bet of 5,500, and then the dealer burned and turned the {8-Diamonds}. Newey checked once again, but this time he folded when Marchese bet 16,500.

The hand wasn't anything special, but it gave us a good excuse to update you on their stacks.
