Steven & Reinkemeier Battle In Massive Pot
We just saw a huge pot take place in the back of the room between Tobias Reinkemeier and Brandon Steven that resulted in one of the men being eliminated and the other build his stack up to 150,000.
It began when Reinkemeier opened for 725 from the hijack and was met by a three-bet to 2,125 from Steven in the cutoff. The button and blinds got out of the way, Reinkemeier four-bet to 6,225, and Steven just called. The German then led out for 7,250 on the 
flop, Steven called, and the 
turned.
Reinkemeier wasted little time in betting 17,000, and then Steven sprung to life with a raise to 55,000. Reinkemeier only had 29,000 behind and thought for a solid minute before calling off with the 
. Unfortunately for him, Steven tabled the 
for a flopped set. The 
river failed to help Reinkemeier, and he made a quick exit from the tournament area. Whether or not he'll reenter remains to be seen.
