Wax Over Max For The Double

After a player had opened for 1,700, Matt Waxman shoved all in from the cutoff for 27,100. Max Silver then three-bet all in over the top from the button, the blinds and original raiser folded, and the cards were turned up.

Waxman: {3-Clubs}{3-Spades}
Silver: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

It was a flip, and according to the PokerNews Odds Calculator Waxman was the 53.10% favorite to win the hand. That improved to 62.83% on the {2-Hearts}{10-Spades}{Q-Spades}, though Silver did pick up a gut-shot straight draw to go with his overs. The {2-Diamonds} was safe for Waxman, and it left Silver with a 22.73% chance of stealing the pot. The dealer burned one last time and put out the {5-Diamonds}. Waxman secured the double.

Meanwhile, both Matt Salsburg and Michael Tureniec have been eliminated from the tournament.
