Shyam "g's zee" Srinivasan is a beast of the online poker world and is looking for his first major final table since 2006. The Canadian, who has clocked up more than $7m in online tournaments, steps out of the shadows and into the Bahamian sun at the PCA 2014. Ten players remain in the PCA Main Event. Find out more about Srinivasan at the PokerStars Blog by clicking here.
On the first day of the High Roller event it seemed impossible to eliminate any players — those who departed simply re-entered to stay part of the fun. But now the reality of what’s at stake has changed the mood, as the serious business of cashing takes over — as the PokerStars Blog reports.
Team PokerStars Pro David Williams joins the PokerNews Podcast to talk about being a new father, the 10-year anniversary of his World Series of Poker Main Event runner-up finish, and where he got that godawful diamond toothpick from.

What happens to the people who buy in to the $25,000 at the last possible moment? It's not always good, as the PokerStars Blog found when it followed Chris Hunichen through the process.
Faraz Jaka raised preflop to 6,500 and Matt Waxman, two seats over, moved all in for 44,900. The action folded to Ankush Mandavia and from the small blind he moved all in for about 30,000 more.
Dan Smith was next to act in the big blind and he tanked for a bit before moving all in as well. Jaka quickly folded and the showdown went as following.
Smith:
Mandavia:
Waxman:
The flop brought out and Mandavia cheered, "Spades!"
On the turn the popped up and Jaka said that Waxman was gonna get there on the river. The river did indeed bring the and Waxman leaned back in his chair in amazement.
"Don't report that please," Waxman jokingly said as he raked in a big triple up. Smith was left with a very small stack while Mandavia maintained his stack.

From middle position, a player raised to 4,000, and then Tobias Reinkemeier called from the cutoff seat. On the button, Paul Newey thought about his options and then reraised all in. The original raiser called all in for 49,100, and Reinkemeier folded.

Welcome back for Day 2 of the 2014 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure $25,000 High Roller taking place at the beautiful Atlantis Resort here on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. Heading into the second day of play, Jonathan Jaffe tops the field with 422,000 in chips.
Behind Jaffe sits Ole Schemion (347,700), Daniel Negreanu (344,500), Philipp Gruissem (290,300), and Mustapha Kanit (277,600) to round out the top five, but many eyes will be solely fixed on the defending champion Vanessa Selbst. She will enter the day with 185,700 in chips, which is good enough for 25th overall.
Selbst is riding somewhat of a high here at the 2014 PCA. First, she took third in the $100,000 Super High Roller for $760,640 to kick off her series, and then she finished in 42nd place in the $10,000 Main Event for $32,000. With more players in this event this year than last, shattering the record that was set, it would be an amazing feat if Selbst was able to reach the final table once again.
Other notables remaining are Jason Mercier, Jonathan Duhamel, Jeremy Ausmus, Greg Merson, Matt Glantz, and Shannon Shorr.
Play will kick off at 12 p.m. local time, and you can stick right here on PokerNews all day long for the live updates straight from the tournament floor as we march on to the final table.
