Early One for Chidwick

Level 2 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Soon after entering the tournament, Jason Koon won his first pot.

It began when Koon raised to 3,300 from middle position and Stephen Chidwick defended the big blind to see a {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} flop. Chidwick checked, Koon continued for 2,600, and Chidwick check-raised to 9,000. Koon made the call and then both players checked the {J-Clubs} turn.

Action repeated itself on the {9-Hearts} river, and Chidwick tabled the {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} for flopped trips. It was no good though as Koon had rivered a straight with the {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}.
