Kenney vs. Kanit

Level 15 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Bryn Kenney opened for 50,000 from the cutoff and received a call from Mustapha Kanit on the button. The {5-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{k-Spades} flop saw Kenney check-call a bet of 50,000, and then he check-called one of 135,000 on the {4-Diamonds} turn. When the {6-Spades} completed the board on the river, both players checked and Kenney tabled the {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. It was good as Kanit mucked his hand.

Perkins Shows Astapau the Nuts

Level 15 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Isaac Haxton opened with a raise under the gun and received calls from Bill Perkins and Anton Astapau in the hijack and big blind respectively. After the flop came out {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs}, action checked to Perkins and he bet 165,000.

Astapau woke up with a check-raise to 165,000, Haxton folded, and Perkins thought for a few moments before moving all in. Astapau, who only had 335,000, wasted little time in folding.

Perkins then showed the {7-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for the flopped nuts.

Kenney vs. Kanit Round II

Level 15 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Bryn Kenney raised to 50,000 under the gun and then called when Mustapha Kanit three-bet to 130,000 from the cutoff. The {9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop saw Kenney check-call a bet of 105,000, and then both players checked the {2-Diamonds} turn.

Kenney then fired out 238,000 on the {Q-Diamonds} river, which Kanit paid off. Kenney tabled the {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for a set, and a frustrated Kanit sent his cards to the muck.

Kanit Takes One

Level 15 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

From the cutoff seat, Bryn Kenney raised to an unknown amount. He was called by Mustapha Kanit on the button and Daniel Dvoress in the big blind to see the flop come out {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}. Dvoress checked, Kenney bet 97,000, and Kanit called. Dvoress folded.

The turn was the {3-Spades}, and Kenney checked. Kanit bet 130,000, and Kenney folded.

Perkins Takes Some From McKeehen

Level 16 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

Bill Perkins raised from the button and it was Joe McKeehen who defended from the big blind, putting {J-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs} out on the flop. McKeehen checked on the flop and Perkins bet 75,000.

McKeehen made the call quickly, and on the turn the {2-Hearts} hit.

McKeehen and Perkins were chatting the entire time, and it would make for some great stream content if both were to make the final table.

McKeehen checked again and Perkins threw out another 125,000. McKeehen called and the river was the {6-Hearts}.

Both players checked and Perkins showed {J-Spades}{2-Spades}. "You got me on the turn," McKeehen said, flashing a {J-} before he mucked his cards.

Peters Puts His Life on the Line

Level 16 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

Joe McKeehen opened for 65,000 from the button and was met by an all-in three-bet to approximately 700,000 from the small blind. McKeehen made the call and the cards were turned up.

McKeehen: {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Peters: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}

Both players held the same hand, which meant one would need to make a flush to win. The {4-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop gave McKeehen a freeroll, but the {5-Hearts} turn took it away. The meaningless {9-Diamonds} was put out on the river, and then Peters and McKeehen chopped it up.
