Hands #34-36: Kanit Makes a Big Laydown

Level 20 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #34: Mustapha Kanit raised to 170,000 with the {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} in the cutoff and swiped the blinds and antes.

Hand #35: Bryn Kenney raised to 170,000 from the cutoff with the {a-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Joe McKeehen defended the big blind with the {k-Clubs}{9-Spades}. McKeehen checked, Kenney bet 135,000, and McKeehen released.

Hand #36: Kanit looked down at the {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} under the gun and raised to 170,000. Ankush Mandavia, who only showed the {7-Spades} to the hole card cam, called from the big blind and then checked the {4-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop. Kanit bet 170,000, Mandavia check-raised to 480,000, and Kanit just called to see the {5-Diamonds} turn.

Mandavia checked, Kanit did the same, and the {J-Diamonds} completed the board on the river. Mandavia bet 650,000 and Kanit stared down his opponent for nearly four minutes before laying it down.
