Beckley Shoves on Maimone

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Nick Maimone raised to 95,000 from middle position only to have Josh Beckley three-bet to 245,000 from the hijack. Action folded back to Maimone, and he called to see a {10-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{k-Hearts} flop.

Maimone check-called a bet of 275,000 and then checked the {6-Spades} turn. Beckely moved all in for 825,000, and Maimone thought for over a minute before releasing his hand.

Zaichenko's Bluff Fails

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Sean Winter raised from the button and Andrey Zaichenko called from the big blind. The flop brought out {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Zaichenko check-called a bet of 65,000.

The turn was the {3-Diamonds} and Zaichenko lead out for 50,000, and Winter made the call.

On the turn the {K-Hearts} hit and Zaichenko lead out for 200,000.

"Quads?" Winter asked Zaichenko, before making the call.

Winter showed {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts} and Zaichenko mucked his cards, giving up a sizeable pot to his opponent.

Beckley Vaults Into the Chip Lead

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Josh Beckley opened for 110,000 under the gun and received a call from Dario Sammartino in the hijack. Andrey Zaichenko then called from the small blind, Nick Maimone did the same from the big, and four players took a flop of {4-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}.

Two checks saw Beckley continue for 175,000, only Maimone called, and then both players checked the {J-Diamonds} turn. When the {9-Diamonds} completed the board on the river, Maimone checked and then tank-called a bet of 300,000 from Beckley.

Beckley tabled the {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}, and it was good as Maimone sent his cards to the muck.

Sammartino in Trouble After Maimone Calls Him Down

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Nick Maimone limped under the gun and Dario Sammartino raised it up to 110,000, after which the other players folded. Maimone called, creating heads up action on the flop.

The flop brought out {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}{9-Hearts} and Maimone check-called 115,000, after which the turn was the {10-Spades}.

Maimone checked again on the turn and Sammartino fired out another 245,000. Maimone tanked for quite a bit before calling, but eventually he did.

The river was the {8-Clubs} and this time both players checked, and Maimone raked in the pot after showing {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}.

Heath Survives Winter

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Action folded to a short-stacked Ben Heath on the button and he open-shipped for his last 315,000. Dario Sammartino folded from the small blind, and Sean Winter made a quick call from the big.

Heath: {k-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
Winter: {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}

Heath was behind, but not after the {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{j-Clubs} flop delivered him a pair of kings.

"I've hit two outers before," Winter said. While that may be the case, this was not one of those times as the {7-Spades} blanked on the turn followed by the {6-Hearts} river to give Heath the double.

Sammartino Drops Another One to Maimone

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Dario Sammartino raised to 90,000 and Nick Maimone called from the big blind, putting {10-Spades}{4-Spades}{6-Clubs} out on the flop.

Maimone checked on the flop and Sammartino bet 75,000 and his opponent called.

The turn was the {10-Hearts} and now both players checked. On the river the {6-Hearts} hit and Maimone check-called 140,000.

Sammartino mucked his cards, and that allowed Maimone to muck as well, giving him the hand without showdown.

Maimone Extends Chip Lead

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Sean Winter limped from middle position, Nick Maimone did the same from the button, and Chance Kornuth checked his option from the big to bring about a {a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop. Kornuth checked, Winter bet 60,000, and Maimone raised to 150,000.

Kornuth folded, Winter called, and then both players checked the {5-Hearts} turn. Winter then checked the {6-Diamonds} river, Maimone bet 250,000, and Winter called only to muck when his opponent tabled the {8-Spades}{7-Spades} for a straight.

Ben Heath

Nick Maimone raised to 110,000 under the gun plus one and Heath shoved all in over the top for 570,000 from the cutoff.

The action folded back to Maimone, and he tanked for a bit before making the call.

Heath: {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Maimone: {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

The board ran out {A-Spades}{5-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and Maimone knocked out Heath in eighth place.
