Troyanovskiy Left With Scraps, Watson Over 8 Million

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Hand #76: Phillip McAllister opened the action with a raise to 255,000 from the cutoff. McAllister had {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. Toby Lewis three-bet to 600,000 with {k-Hearts}{9-Clubs} from the button. McAllister called.

The flop was {10-Spades}{8-Spades}{q-Hearts} and both players checked. The turn was the {6-Clubs} and both players checked again. The river was the {5-Hearts} and they both checked again. McAllister won the pot with a pair of eights and is over 11 million.

Hand #77: Toby Lewis opened to 240,000 with {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} from the cutoff and everyone folded.

Hand #78: Toby Lewis had {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} again under the gun and opened for 240,000. Mike Watson had pocket aces, {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}, and called. Phillip McAllister called from the big blind as well, with {a-Hearts}{6-Clubs}.

The flop came {3-Spades}{j-Hearts}{10-Spades} and the action checked to Watson, who was last to act. Watson bet 400,000. McAllister folded and Lewis folded as well.

Hand #79: Mike Watson raised with pocket queens, {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. Watson made it 250,000. Vladimir Troyanovskiy reraised with {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}, making it 575,000. Watson called.

The flop came {j-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and Watson checked to Troyanovskiy, who took a moment and then counted out a bet of 425,000. The action was back on Watson and he called.

The turn was the {10-Clubs} and Watson checked again. Troyanovskiy checked behind. The river was the {6-Diamonds} and Watson counted out some chips and quickly slid in a bet of 1,250,000. Troyanovskiy called and lost a giant pot on the final hand of the level. Watson would creep over eight million chips and Troyanovskiy would be the short stack, holding only 13 big blinds.
