Jason Mercier shoved all in for about 345,000 from the button, and Ami Barer, who had opened in middle position to 45,000, snap-called.

Mercier: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Barer: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

The PokerStars Team Pro was dead on the turn as the board ran out {2-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{9-Spades}{a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}.

"25K, here we go," Mercier said, indicating his plan to hop in the high roller. "Good luck."

Troyanovskiy Pressures the Big Stack

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Phillip McAllister is the big stack at Vladimir Troyanovskiy's table. McAllister made it 45,000 and Randy Kritzer called from the button and the action fell to Troyanovskiy in the big blind.

Troyanovskiy counted out his chips and then reraised to 185,000, which was enough to take down the pot and add an easy 100,000 to his pot.

Barer Shakes Chidwick on the End

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Stephen Chidwick defended his big blind from an Ami Barer button open and then check-called an unknown amount on the {a-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop. He check-called 128,000 on the {6-Clubs} turn, and he checked the {7-Clubs} river. Barer barreled out one final time for 282,000, and Chidwick finally mucked after thinking briefly.

Pires Keeps Firing Away

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Leonardo Pires
Leonardo Pires

Ken Demlakian opened from under the gun, Leonardo Pires called from the cutoff seat, and David Eldridge called from the small blind. Then, the flop came down {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, and Eldridge checked. Pires grabbed chips to slide them forward for a bet, but the dealer stopped him because action was on Demlakian.

Demlakian then bet 86,000, but that didn't stop Pires from firing in even more chips. He raised to 250,000. Eldridge folded, and Demlakian made the call.

The turn was the {4-Diamonds}, and Demlakian checked. Pires quickly slid out 500,000, and Demlakian gave it up.
