Matt Waxman Eliminated in 10th Place ($51,260)

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Matt Waxman
Matt Waxman

Matt Waxman moved all in from the button for 1,245,000 and Mike Watson called from the big blind as soon as Vladimir Troyanovskiy folded from the small blind.

Watson: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}
Waxman: {A-Spades}{7-Hearts}

The flop brought {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and Waxman was almost drawing dead. The {A-Hearts} hit on the turn and Waxman had one out to chop, but the {9-Spades} on the river sent him to the rail.

There will now be a full redraw, before the final nine players get seated at the unofficial final table.

McAllister Gets Some Back After Flopping the Nuts

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

After Phillip McAllister opened for 90,000 and Tony Gregg called, the flop fell {7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades} and the former led out for 110,000. Gregg called and then called a bet of 165,000 on the {K-Clubs} turn.

When the {9-Diamonds} completed the board on the river, McAllister fired 555,000 and Gregg tanked for a couple of minutes before making the call. McAllister rolled over the {8-Spades}{6-Spades} for the nuts, and Gregg mucked his hand.

Demlakian Takes Some From Troyanovskiy

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Vladimir Troyanovskiy raised to 110,000 under the gun and Ken Demaklian called from the button. The flop brought out {K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Troyanovskiy bet 140,000, Demlakian called.

On the turn the {2-Diamonds} hit and Troyanovskiy bet another 255,000, which was called by Demlakian.

The river was the {8-Clubs} and now both players checked.

Troyanovskiy showed {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs} but that was no good against Demlakian's straight, as he showed {J-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}.

Here Comes Tony

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

After a lot of small pots on the secondary table we just saw Phillip McAllister raise from the button to 105,000. Tony Gregg three-bet from the small blind to 345,000 and McAllister tanked for a bit before calling.

The flop brought out {3-Spades}{J-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and both players checked.

On the turn the {6-Hearts} hit and Gregg bet 390,000, which was called by McAllister.

The river brought the {Q-Spades} and now Gregg tanked before betting 620,000. McAllister tanked for several minutes before folding, and Gregg chipped up, looking for his third PCA Main Event final table.

"I Wait for the Goods, Bro"

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Matt Waxman
Matt Waxman

Matt Waxman open-shipped for 665,000 from the cutoff and Mike Watson called from the small blind.

Waxman: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Watson: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}

"I wait for the goods, bro," Waxman told someone on his rail.

Waxman was well out in front thanks to his kicker, and there would be no tomfoolery in this hand as the board ran out a clean {7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{q-Hearts}{2-Spades}{6-Spades}.
