There were about 15,000 chips in the middle and the board read {J-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Spades} when we got to the table. Ari Engel checked from the big blind, Steffen Sontheimer bet 5,000 from under the gun, and Engel called.

The turn brought the {A-Spades} and both players checked.

The {K-Hearts} fell on the river and Engel checked. Sontheimer bet 16,000 and Engel check-raised to 67,000. Sontheimer folded and Engel took the pot.

Boeree Makes Quads to Double Up

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

The action was on Liv Boeree in the small blind and she got her remaining 41,200 chips in the middle against Seth Davies in the big blind. Boeree was already in front with {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} against the {a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} of Davies and when the flop came {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}, Boeree was in a commanding position to win the pot.

The turn brought the {6-Spades} and Boeree locked up the hand by hitting quad sixes. A full double up early in the day was exactly what the PokerStars Team Pro was looking for.

Kurganov Chipping Up

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

The board read {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts} and Steve O'Dwyer checked from the big blind to Igor Kurganov in the hijack. Kurganov made a bet of 32,000 into a pot of around 35,000. O'Dwyer called and the {6-Clubs} paired the board on the river.

O'Dwyer checked again and Kurganov fired another 32,000 as his time clock was running out. O'Dwyer quickly made the call and Kurganov tabled {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}, much to O'Dwyers dismay as he was forced to muck his cards.

Adams and Koon Can't Make Another Deep Run

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Timothy Adams got the last of is roughly 30,000 stack in the middle and was up against Mikalai Vaskaboinikau. The two recently battled in the $25,000 Single Day High-Roller on the final table with the Belarussian coming out on top. Adams turned over the {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and was up against the {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} of Vaskaboinikau.

The flop came {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Adams was still slightly in the lead with the only pair. The {9-Spades} on the turn made things a little scarier and the {k-Hearts} on the river sealed his fate. Vaskaboinikau binked a pair of kings on the river to eliminate Adams once again.

Jason Koon was also seen leaving his seat and both he and Adams won't be able to duplicate their deep runs that they made in the Single Day High-Roller.

Badziakouski On Fire with a Double KO

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

There was a three-way all in with Andre Akkari holding {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, Boris Kolev showing {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}, and Mikita Badziakouski with {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}. Badziakouski held the best hand and the most amount of chips, and was in a prime position to score a double knockout.

The flop came {9-}{8-}{6-}, barely missing all three players which resulted in Badziakouski staying in the lead. A {j-} on the turn and another {9-} on the river changed nothing and Badziakouski sent both of his opponents to the rail.
