Hands #5-10: O'Dwyer's Stack Grows

Level 15 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Hand 5: Byron Kaverman received a walk in the big blind with {K-Clubs}{7-Hearts}.

Hand 6: We missed this hand because of a segment on the stream.

Hand 7: Jean-Noel Thorel opened the cutoff for 55,000 with {A-Spades}{7-Hearts} and Benjamin Pollak in the big blind called with {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. Pollak checked on {K-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} and Thorel took it down with a bet of 100,000 as Pollak folded.

Hand 8: Steve O'Dwyer opened under the gun for 55,000 with {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}. Right next to him, Jean-Noel Thorel woke up with {A-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and he called.

The flop was all hearts again with {2-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{K-Hearts} and O'Dwyer checked. Thorel bet 55,000 into 170,000 and O'Dwyer called. The {K-Diamonds} on the turn saw O'Dwyer check again and Thorel checked behind. The {3-Hearts} on the river made it for a 4-flush paired board and O'Dwyer took it down as it was checked by both.

Hand 9: Jean-Noel Thorel opened {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} for 60,000 under the gun. Steve O'Dwyer called from the big blind with {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and he check-folded to Thorel's bet on {10-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}.

Hand 10: Kaverman opened {Q-Spades}{10-Hearts} under the gun for 55,000. Steve O'Dwyer found {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} in the small blind and he flat called. Jean-Noel Thorel in the big blind with {A-Hearts}{5-Spades} became involved as well.

The flop came {10-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and the blinds checked. Kaverman checked behind so the pot remained 189,000. The {2-Clubs} hit the turn and O'Dwyer checked again. Thorel bet 100,000 and Kaverman and O'Dwyer called.

The {8-Hearts} completed the board and O'Dwyer checked. Thorel bet 150,000 and Kaverman folded his top pair. O'Dwyer called and took down the sizable pot.
