Webjoker • Level 17: 20,000-40,000, 5,000 ante
Jean-Noel Thorel

Hand 67: Jean-Noel Thorel on the button opened for 100,000 with {A-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. Steve O'Dwyer called from the big blind with {10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}. The flop came {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} and O'Dwyer check-folded to Thorel's 100,000 bet.

Hand 68: O'Dwyer in the small blind completed with {10-Clubs}{7-Spades}, Thorel checked {J-Diamonds}{8-Spades}. Both checked the flop of {5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} and O'Dwyer took it down with a bet of 45,000 on the {Q-Hearts} turn as Thorel folded.

Hand 69: Jean-Noel Thorel opened {K-Diamonds}{5-Spades} in the small blind for 85,000. Byron Kaverman called with {8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. The flop came {A-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Hearts} and Thorel took the pot with a bet of 100,000 as Kaverman folded.

Hand 70: Steve O'Dwyer in the small blind with {K-Clubs}{10-Spades} opened for 120,000. Jean-Noel Thorel called with {3-Hearts}{2-Spades}. The flop came {9-Spades}{A-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and both checked. The {J-Diamonds} hit the turn and O'Dwyer bet 150,000 into 255,000 and Thorel folded right away.

Hand 71: Thorel limped in from the small blind with {K-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Kaverman checked {K-Clubs}{4-Hearts}. The flop came {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and both players checked. They did so too on the {9-Spades} on the turn before the {K-Diamonds} completed the board. Thorel checked and Kaverman bet 65,000. Thorel called and the two chopped the pot.

Hand 72: Byron Kaverman had just the {10-Spades} showing and limped in from the small blind. Big blind Steve O'Dwyer checked {Q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. The flop came {4-Clubs}{8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Kaverman bet 60,000. O'Dwyer folded.

Hand 73: O'Dwyer in the small blind with {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} 120,000. Big blind Jean-Noel Thorel three-bet to 340,000 with {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. O'Dwyer moved all in and Thorel called right away to create a 2,295,000 pot.

The flop came {5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{Q-Spades} which didn't do much for Thorel, but the {A-Hearts} on the turn sure did.

The {9-Spades} on the river completed the board and Thorel doubled.
