Hands #95-100: Mateos Wins With Kings

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Hand 95: With {K-Hearts}{10-Spades} in the hijack, Maria Lampropulos asked how much big blind Oleg Titov was playing. She eventually folded, but Shawn Buchanan with {A-Hearts}{7-Spades} in the cutoff did open, making it 160,000. Adrian Mateos on the button with {A-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, asked how much Buchanan was playing, and three-bet to 500,000. The blinds folded, as did Buchanan.

Hand 96: Buchanan opened {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs} in the hijack, making it 160,000. That resulted in all folds, blinds and antes to Buchanan.

Hand 97: Now with a big hand, Adrian Mateos opened {K-Spades}{K-Hearts} in the hijack to 160,000. Koray Aldemir called in the big blind with {Q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and flopped top pair on {6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}. Aldemir checked and Mateos bet 250,000. Aldemir called.

With now 930,000 in the middle, Aldemir checked the {6-Spades} on the turn. Mateos checked behind. The {10-Diamonds} completed the board and Aldemir checked. Mateos bet almost pot with 925,000 slid to the middle. Aldemir called and got the bad news soon.

Hand 98: Mateos opened once more, this time under the gun plus one with {A-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. His 160,000 raise netted him the blinds and antes as everyone folded.

Hand 99: Daniel Coupal with {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} shoved for 670,000 under the gun plus one. Everyone folded.

Hand 100: Mateos received a walk in the big blind with {8-Clubs}{5-Spades}.
