Level 16 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Hand 35: Justin Bonomo opened {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} under the gun plus one for 60,000. Cary Katz shoved {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} for 371,000 from the big blind and Bonomo called. The board ran out {8-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Katz doubled to 797,000.

Hand 36: Ivan Luca opened to 60,000 with {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} under the gun plus one. Bryn Kenney in the cutoff found {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and he shoved for 587,000. The button, blinds, and Luca all folded.

Hand 37: Ivan Luca opened under the gun for 75,000 with {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. Sam Greenwood in middle position, found {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} and raised to 400,000, leaving himself 532,000 behind.

Daniel Negreanu in the small blind woke up with {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} and folded, showing his hand as soon as the big blind and Luca folded.

Hand 38: Justin Bonomo limped in from the small blind with {7-Hearts}{5-Spades}. Ivan Luca checked {Q-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} in the big blind. The flop came {7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Bonomo bet 35,000. Luca folded.

Hand 39: Justin Bonomo on the button raised to 60,000 with {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}. Isaac Haxton in the big blind found {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and called. The flop came {K-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Haxton check-called Bonomo's 45,000 bet.

The {7-Clubs} on the turn gave Haxton a flush draw on top of the best hand he already had and he checked. Bonomo checked behind.

The {A-Hearts} completed the board and Haxton bet 450,000 into 265,000. Bonomo folded right away.

Hands #30-34: Short-Stacked Cary Katz Jams

Level 16 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Hand 30: Cary Katz picked up the {a-Spades}{k-Spades} in the cutoff and moved all in for 226,000. Ivan Luca looked down at the {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades} in the big blind and stood up in his chair. He ultimately sat back down and folded.

Hand 31: Daniel Negreanu raised to 70,000 with the {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts} in the cutoff and picked up the blinds and antes.

Hand 32: Luca raised to 60,000 with the {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts} on the button and Sam Greenwood called from the big blind with the {q-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. The {5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop gave both players a flush draw, and Greenwood checked to Luca, who bet 35,000.

Greenwood just called and checked the {6-Diamonds} turn. Luca bet 260,000 and Greenwood called to see the {5-Diamonds} river. Greenwood, who didn't know he was fortunate not to hit a heart, checked to Luca, who used a time extension before checking behind and winning the pot.

Hand 33: Katz raised to 60,000 from early position with the {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and took down the blinds and antes.

Hand 34: Justin Bonomo raised to 60,000 UTG+2 with the {q-Spades}{9-Spades} and Luca three-bet to 180,000 with the {a-Spades}{10-Hearts} in the hijack. Action folded back to Bonomo and he called to see the flop, which came down {6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}.

Both players checked, the dealer burned and turned the {A-Diamonds}, and again action went check-check. The {9-Diamonds} river gave Bonomo back the lead and he coyly checked to Luca, who bet 210,000 with aces and nines. Bonomo, who held trips, used a time extension before check-raising to 825,000. Luca folded.

Hands #25-28: Katz Getting Short

Level 16 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Hand 25: Ivan Luca opened the cutoff with {10-Hearts}{6-Spades} asking 65,000 total from the players behind him. Isaac Haxton had a better hand with {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades} on the button and three-bet to 450,000, the majority of his chips, leaving himself 303,000 behind. The blinds and Luca folded.

Hand 26: Cary Katz found {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} under the gun and casually limped in by tossing in 30,000. Behind him, Daniel Negreanu raised to 95,000 with {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}. Katz called.

The flop came {10-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and Katz checked. Negreanu bet 65,000 into 275,000 and Katz called. The {J-Clubs} on the turn saw Katz check again. Negreanu checked behind resulting in the {2-Hearts} rolling off on the river for free. Katz bet 30,000 into 405,000 and Negreanu called with the better hand.

Hand 27: Ivan Luca opened {A-Spades}{10-Spades} for 60,000 in middle position. Cary Katz called from the big blind with {K-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and flopped a pair on {3-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. They both checked and the {4-Clubs} hit the turn. Katz checked again and Luca bet 50,000. Katz called.

The {9-Diamonds} completed the board and Katz (with 256,000 behind and 275,000 in the middle) checked. Luca bet 275,000, just enough to put Katz all in. Katz used a time bank cards to gain some additional time for his big decision. Katz eventually folded.

Hand 28: Bonomo opened 65,000 under the gun with {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. Daniel Negreanu flatted in the big blind with {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and flopped {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. Negreanu check-called a bet of 45,000 and checked again on the {4-Hearts} turn. Bonomo checked behind in the 275,000 pot. Another four on the river as the {4-Spades} appeared and Negreanu bet 105,000. Bonomo folded right away.

Hand 29: Ivan Luca was first to act and raised {Q-Spades}{J-Hearts} to 60,000. Justin Bonomo defended the big blind with {8-Clubs}{5-Spades}. The flop came {6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{J-Spades} and Bonomo check-folded to Luca's 50,000 bet.

Hand #19-24: Luca Stays Active, Greenwood Shoves

Level 16 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Hand 19: Ivan Luca raised to 65,000 with the {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} in middle position and took down the pot.

Hand 20: Luca raised to 80,000 with the {j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} UTG+1 and Daniel Negreanu called from the big blind with the {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}. The {j-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop saw Negreanu check and then fold when Luca continued for 40,000.

Hand 21: Luca looked down at the {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades} under the gun and raised to 65,000. Justin Bonomo defended his big blind with the {a-Clubs}{3-Spades} and the flop came down {7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} pairing both players.

Bonomo checked, Luca bet 60,000, and Bonomo called to see the {7-Diamonds} turn. Bonomo checked for a second time and Luca, who turned trips, bet 60,000. Bonomo released his hand.

Hand 22: Sam Greenwood raised to 60,000 from early position with the {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Bryn Kenney, who was next to act, called with the {a-Spades}{j-Spades}. Luca then picked up the {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} in the big blind and he three-bet to 280,000.

Greenwood wasted little time in folding and Kenney gave it some thought before doing the same.

Hand 23: Negreanu raised to 70,000 from the cutoff with the {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and won the blinds and antes.

Hand 24: Cary Katz picked up the {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} UTG+2 and just called. Luca then raised to 140,000 with the {8-Diamonds}{5-Spades} on the button, Greenwood three-bet all in for 1.157 million from the big blind with {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}, and both his opponents folded.

Ante: 5,000

Hands #14-18: Greenwood Shoves With Queens

Level 15 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Hand 14: Sam Greenwood opened under the gun plus one for 55,000 with {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}. Seidel had a real hand as well with {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} and he called from middle position.

Justin Bonomo on the button squeezed with {A-Spades}{J-Clubs} and made it 180,000. The blinds folded right away but Greenwood wasn't parting ways with his hand just like that. Greenwood thought about it for a bit before he shoved for 1,008,000. Seidel and Bonomo both folded right away.

Hand 15: It folded to Cary Katz in the hijack and he raised to 52,000 with {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Big blind Isaac Haxton asked how much Katz had behind (590,000) and called with {K-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}.

The flop came {J-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{9-Clubs}, pairing both and they checked. The {6-Hearts} hit the turn and Haxton bet 60,000 into 148,000. Katz, having turned two pair, called. The {5-Spades} completed the board and Haxton checked. Katz bet 125,000 and Haxton folded.

Hand 16: From middle position, Cary Katz limped in with {A-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. Justin Bonomo raised the cutoff to 90,000 with {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and Katz called.

The flop came {3-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} and Katz check-folded to Bonomo's 80,000 bet.

Hand 17: Daniel Negreanu raised to 55,000 with {A-Spades}{J-Clubs} under the gun plus two. Justin Bonomo, in the hijack, found a big hand with {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} and three-bet to 150,000. Negreanu gave it up.

Hand 18: From the hijack, Ivan Luca raised to 55,000 with {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. It was enough as he took down the blinds and antes.

Mustapha Kanit
Mustapha Kanit

Hand 11: Ivan Luca raised to 55,000 with the {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Bryn Kenney three-bet all in for 764,000 with the {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} in the cutoff. Everyone folded including Luca.

Hand 12: Cary Katz raised to 50,000 with the {3-Spades}{3-Hearts} on the button and Justin Bonomo looked down at the {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} in the big blind. He moved all in and Katz released his small pocket pair.

Hand 13: Luca raised to 55,000 under the gun with the {k-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Bonomo called from the small blind with the {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. Mustapha Kanit then three-bet all in for 297,000 from the big blind with the {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}, Luca folded, and Bonomo called.

Kanit desperately needed a high five, but the dealer left him hanging by running out a dry board of {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. With that, the official final table has been established, and just one more needs to fall before the money is made.

Hands #6-10: Luca Getting Richer

Level 15 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Hand 6: Bryn Kenney opened {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds} for 55,000 under the gun plus one. Daniel Negreanu in the hijack had the same hand with {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and called. Isaac Haxton wanted to see a flop with {Q-Spades}{10-Clubs} as well and called to make it three-handed.

With 213,000 in the pot, the flop came {7-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{J-Spades} giving both Kenney and Negreanu top pair while Haxton flopped a gutshot.

Haxton checked and saw Kenney bet 70,000. Negreanu called, Haxton called.

The {5-Diamonds} on the turn didn't do anything for anyone and Haxton checked again. Kenney bet 145,000 into 423,000 and Negreanu called. Haxton contemplated what to do for a bit before he folded.

The {10-Spades} on the river saw Kenney check. Negreanu checked behind and the two chopped up the pot.

Hand 7: Justin Bonomo opened the hijack for 55,000 with {A-Spades}{10-Clubs}. Ivan Luca contemplated a move with {10-Spades}{8-Spades} on the button but folded. Sam Greenwood called {7-Spades}{6-Spades} in the big blind. The flop came {6-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} and Greenwood check-folded his bottom-pair to Bonomo's 55,000 bet.

Hand 8: We missed this hand because of a graphic on the stream. Daniel Negreanu was the one taking down this hand.

Hand 9: Sam Greenwood found a hand on the button with {K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} and made it 60,000 to go. Erik Seidel called from the big blind with {Q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}.

The flop came {3-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and both checked. The {10-Spades} hit the turn and they checked again.

The {K-Diamonds} completed the board and Seidel checked a third time. Greenwood bet 85,000 into 168,000 and Seidel folded.

Hand 10: Mustapha Kanit opened under the gun plus two for 50,000 with {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}. Ivan Luca right next to him called with {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}. The flop came {9-Spades}{4-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Kanit bet bet 50,000 into 172,000. Luca called.

Hand 2: Luca once again raised to 55,000, this time with the {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}, and Cary Katz called from the small blind with the [10s9]. Daniel Negreanu came along from the big blind with the {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and three players took a flop of {2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}.

Two checks saw Luca, the only player with a heart in his hand, continue for 55,000 and he picked up the pot.

Hand 3: Sam Greenwood raised to 55,000 from middle position with the {q-Spades}{10-Spades} and Justin Bonomo defended his big blind with the {j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. The {3-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop saw Bonomo check and Greenwood bet 40,000. Bonomo folded.

Luca, who held the {a-Clubs}{j-Spades} in the big blind, just called and the duo saw the flop fall {5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades}. Luca checked, Bonomo bet 55,000 with his trips, and Luca called to see the {6-Diamonds} turn.

Luca checked for a second time, Bonomo bet 175,000, and Luca folded.

Stephen Chidwick Eliminated

Level 15 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Stephen Chidwick
Stephen Chidwick

Action folded to Cary Katz in the small blind and he shoved with {7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. Big blind Stephen Chidwick called for 99,000 with {5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.

Chidwick was dominated by Katz and wouldn't find any help. The flop came {A-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts} with the {6-Spades} pairing the board on the turn.

Chances of a chop were very real, but the {4-Spades} on the river made the seven-high play and that was it for Chidwick, he hit the rail.

Down to 9 players, the clock was paused and the final redraw of the tournament was started.
