Kurganov Chips Up

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Igor Kurganov had chipped up some already and then Mikita Badziakouski won a bigger pot without showdown against Rainer Kempe. On a completed board of {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades}, Badziakouski used a time bank and check-raised from 55,000 to 175,000. Kempe on the button folded and was sent back to the starting stack.

Right after, the flop showed {J-Hearts}{J-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and Badziakouski check-raised from 2,500 to 11,000 out of the big blind and Kurganov came along. The {J-Clubs} turn brought a check-call by Badziakouski for 20,000 and the {K-Clubs} river was checked. Badziakouski flashed {A-}{5-} and Kurganov won the pot with {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}.
