Ace on the River Helps Greenwood

Level 15 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Stephen Chidwick opened to 60,000 in early position with {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and Sam Greenwood three-bet to 240,000 with {a-Clubs}{9-Spades} in the big blind. Chidwick made the call and the dealer spread the flop of {j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Spades}.

Greenwood used up a time extension before dropping in a bet of 100,000. Chidwick still called with the only pair thus far and the {4-Hearts} landed on the turn. Both players checked and the {a-Diamonds} turned the tables on the river. Greenwood opted to lead out for 150,000 and Chidwick instantly mucked his cards.
