Hands #45–47: Rheem Flops Broadway; Veksler Gets Value

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Hand #45: Scott Wellenbach raised the button to 200,000 with the {Q-Spades}{3-Spades} and Daniel Strelitz folded in the single big blind.

Hand #46: Vicent Bosca raised to {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and Chino Rheem called in the big blind with {K-Hearts}{10-Clubs}. On the {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs} flop, Rheem checked and Bosca continued for 225,000, which Rheem called with broadway. On the {5-Diamonds} turn, Rheem check-called another bet of 600,000 and the {J-Hearts} river paired the board.

Rheem checked once more and Bosca checked behind to get shown the bad news.

Hand #47: First to act, Pavel Veksler raised to 160,000 with {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and Wellenbach in the cutoff asked for his stack size, then flat-called with the {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. Brian Altman peeled from the big blind with {9-Spades}{3-Spades} and the flop of {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} gave both Veksler and Wellenbach top pair.

Altman checked and Veksler continued for 275,000, which was called only by Wellenbach. After the {Q-Spades} turn, Veksler fired a second barrel for 500,000 and Wellenbach called once more to see the {K-Hearts} on the river. Both players checked and Veksler
