Taberham Trumps Tens to Triple

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Patros Benham opened to 2,500 but then short-stacked Simon Taberham moved all in behind him for 11,700 total.

The action was then on Isaac Haxton, who decided to make the call after a brief stint in the tank. It folded back around to Benham, who then decided to go all in himself for a total of 38,600. Haxton made the call and the cards were on their backs, with Haxton covering.

Simon Taberham: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Patros Benham: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Issac Haxton: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

"Well, I'm in good shape!" Taberham said when he realized what he was up against.

The flop came {5-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{k-Hearts}, which gave Taberham top pair but Haxton was holding the {10-Hearts} for a flush draw. Luckily for Taberham, the board ran out {2-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} which awarded him the pot for a triple up while Haxton and Benham took back their bets.

"Well that wasn't the worst outcome," Haxton admitted as Taberham stacked his new chips.
