Christoph Csik Eliminated in 5th Place ($399,800)

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Christoph Csik opened to 215,000 on the button and then faced a three-bet to 650,000 by Artur Martirosian in the small blind with the {a-Clubs}{2-Hearts}. Alexandre Raymond then four-bet jammed out of the big blind and Csik called all-in for 2,200,000, while Martirosian snap-folded.

Christoph Csik: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Alexandre Raymond: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

The {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop propelled Raymond into the lead and Csik was completely depleted, vaulting out of his seat. Once the {9-Hearts} turn and {8-Clubs} river completed the board, he could all but gasp an "gawdddd" and needed some time to gather his belongings in the final hand of the break while his four former opponents had already left the stage.

Csik's run ended in fifth place and he takes home $399,800 for the efforts. The tournament then headed into the first scheduled 20-minute break.
