Action was three ways to the flop. Kayhan Mokri was in early position against Andrew Chen and Ryan Riess in the blinds.

There was 52,000 in the pot as action checked through on the {j-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop.

The {3-Diamonds} was the turn and Chen bet 14,000. Only Riess called.

The river was the {10-Spades} and Chen bet 50,000. Riess moved all in for 70,000. Chen laid his hand down and said "Show the bluff." Riess didn't show and sent his card back to the dealer.

Hendrix KO'd with Kings

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Adam Hendrix
Adam Hendrix

Adam Hendrix moved all in for his final 65,000 from early position and the action folded around to Dylan Smith in the big blind. Smith asked for a count and checked out his own short stack before making the call.

Adam Hendrix: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Dylan Smith: {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Hendrix was in front with his pocket kings and remained ahead after the {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop. The {6-Spades} turn changed nothing, but Smith spiked the {a-Clubs} river to send Hendrix to the rail.

Johnson Chips Up on the Bubble

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

There was around 73,000 in the pot heading to the turn. Andrew Chen was under the gun against Rodger Johnson in the big blind.

The board read {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and Johnson checked. Chen fired 60,000 and Johnson called.

The river came the {6-Diamonds} and Johnson checked. Chen frustratedly slammed the table to check behind. Johnson tabled {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} for top pair to take down the pot as Chen mucked.

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Mustapha Kanit
Mustapha Kanit

In a pot of roughly 120,000 on a flop showing {k-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}, Mustapha Kanit checked from the big blind to Ognyan Dimov in the hijack who bet out 25,000, which Kanit called.

On the {4-Clubs} turn both players checked their options and did so again on the {9-Hearts} river. Kanit tabled {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and Dimov quickly mucked, sending the pot to the Italian.

Dimov Eliminates Shorr on Bubble

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Shannon Shorr
Shannon Shorr

Shannon Shorr raised to 22,000 from early position and the action folded around to Ognyan Dimov in the big blind who moved all in for 165,000 effective. Shorr called.

Since it was hand for hand, the players were forced to keep their cards on their backs until the other hands had finished.

Shannon Shorr: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Ognyan Dimov: {a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}

Shorr was in great shape and needed to dodge an ace to survive. The flop gave Dimov a pair when it came {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades}. The turn would bring the {a-Spades} which means Shorr would be a heavy underdog to survive. The river came the {3-Hearts} which ensured Shorr's elimination from the tournament as play continues on the stone bubble.

Kenney Lives Like a Gambler

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Bryn Kenney
Bryn Kenney

Ren Lin opened to 18,000 from under the gun and Bryn Kenney was next to act and in the tank.

"This one's for you Christoph,", said Kenney before moving all in for 34,000.

The action folded back around to Lin who quickly called. Christoph Vogelsang was the shortest stack and sweating the bubble but Kenney took some of that pressure off.

"Live like a gamber, die like a gambler," joked Kenney as he awaited the other tables to finish their hands.

After close to a minute of wait, the tournament director allowed the cards to be turned over.

Bryn Kenney: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Ren Lin: {q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

Kenney found himself in a great situation and when the board ran out {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Spades}, it was the better queen for Kenney that scored the pot and full double up to stay alive.
