Uguccioni Shoves on Shorr

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Picking up the action on the turn with the board reading {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{8-Spades}, Shannon Shorr was heads-up with Michael Uguccioni. Shorr checked from the big blind and Uguccioni bet 4,000 on the button into a pot of 18,000 which Shorr called.

The river brought the {j-Spades} and Shorr checked again. Uguccioni reached back for his entire stack of chips and that was enough to get Shorr to lay his hand down.

Tulin Tries to Get Tricky

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Nikolai Tulin raised it up to 1,000 in middle position and was called by Dominykas Mikolaitis on his left and the big blind. The flop fell {k-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and the action checked around to the {10-Clubs} on the turn.

Tulin finally took a stab at the pot with a bet of 1,600 on the turn and only Mikolaitis called. The river was the {3-Diamonds} and Tulin checked this time. Mikolaitis quickly checked it back and Tulin tabled {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for a full house.

Jacobson Steals an Early Pot

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Martin Jacobson just recently took his seat and wasted no time getting after it. The 2014 Main Event champion raised it up on the button and Niko Koop three-bet to 2,800 from the small blind. Jacobson called and the dealer fanned the flop of {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.

Koop continued with a large sizing of 4,500 and Jacobson called to see the {3-Clubs} on the turn. Koop checked this time and Jacobson flicked in a bet of 5,000. Koop was forced to lay his hand down and Jacobson dragged an early pot.

Mendez Bombs River

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

On a heads-up turn board of {7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{j-Clubs}, Jeannette Mendez checked to her opponent, Sirzat Hissou, who bet 6,600.

Mendez made the call and the duo went to the {2-Hearts} river.

This time Mendez led out for 10,000, which covered Hissou who only had 8,100 behind. After some inner debate, he finally elected on a fold and the pot was awarded to Mendez, which boosted her stack to almost 80,000.
