Ken Hunter Eliminated in 7th Place ($1,893)

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Action folded to Kyle Hartree in late-middle position, and he shoved his stack. It folded to Ken Hunter on the big blind, and he elected to make the call with a smaller stack.

Hartree was playing {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades} against the {10-Spades}{8-Spades} of Hunter. Hunter hit his eight on the {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop but Hartree hit better with the king. The {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} turn and river were bricks, and Hunter was off to the cage for his $1,893.

Gingras: {6-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Martin: {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}

The flop gave Gingras a gut shot {k-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and the turn improved him to a pair {6-Hearts}. Martin was unable to improve on the river {9-Diamonds} and was eliminated in eighth place for $1,538.

Martin Survives Blind on Blind

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Suzanne Martin is on fumes since the hand that knocked Matt Perin out, and she's been pretty card dead. After folding her big blind to a raise from Norbert Rosario, she got her 35,000 into the middle from the small blind, and Kyle Hartree basically auto-called the tiny raise.

Hartree was playing eight-deuce against the ace-ten of Martin, but it was Hartree who hit the flop of {8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{4-Spades}. An {a-Hearts} on the turn kept her hopes alive with a better pair, but it also gave Hartree the draw to the nut-low flush draw with his deuce of hearts.

The {6-Clubs} river was a brick, and Martin scored a full double to stay alive.
