Level 22 : Blinds 75,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Wai Leong Chan raised to 450,000 with the {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} out of the small blind and Hamish Crawshaw defended the {k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} in the big blind. The {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop was bet for 300,000 by Chan and Crawshaw came along with his top pair. Both checked the {3-Hearts} on the turn and the {7-Clubs} followed on the river.

Chan now checked and Crawshaw bet 700,000 to force a fold from Chan.

Tang Jams Into Tang

Level 22 : Blinds 75,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Devan Tang raised to 300,000 with the {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} from under the gun and was called by Hamish Crawshaw with the {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. Danny Tang three-bet to 1,200,000 with the {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} only for the initial raiser to then four-bet shove. That got through as both opponents quickly let go.

Fireworks Between the Ewe Brothers

Level 22 : 75,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Eng Soon Ewe was all-in for 2,175,000 and his brother Eng Siang Ewe called in the small blind.

Eng Soon Ewe: {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
Eng Sian Ewe: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

The {a-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} board provided a set and the stacks were suddenly nearly even.

Soon after, they got it in for piles once more and the following showdown emerged after which Sian had jammed.

Eng Soon Ewe: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Eng Sian Ewe: {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

Once more, Soon was ahead and that remained to be the case on the {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{9-Spades} board as former big stack Sian went to the far shorest stack.

Chan Loses Another Pot to Crawshaw

Level 23 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Hamish Crawshaw opened to 300,000 with the {k-Clubs}{9-Spades} and Wai Leong Chan called in the big blind with the {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. The {q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop was check-called by Leong for 200,000 and he did so again for 700,000 on the {k-Diamonds} turn. Both checked the {q-Spades} on the river and Crawshaw had the best of it again versus Chan, who continued to slip.

Yet another clash between Wai Leong Chan and Hamish Crawshaw unfolded with the former jamming for around 2.6 million in the small blind. Almost apologetically, Crawshaw snap-called and had the best of it again.

Wai Leong Chan: {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
Hamish Crawshaw: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

Board: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}

Within three hands, the former bigger stack of Chan melted and the field was down to the final nine.
