Iyer Remains at the Top

Level 11 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

In the last hand before the break, Abhinav Iyer had opened to 22,000 and was called by Wayne Heung in the big blind. It was Heung who bet the {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop for 15,000 and Iyer called. Both checked it down on the {q-Clubs} turn and {a-Clubs} river after which Heung mucked his cards.

Iyer didn't have to show anything and was awarded the pot.

Lee Takes It on the Flop

Level 10 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Jun Wah Yap raised to 20,000 and Wai Kiat Lee three-bet to 60,000 from the very next seat. Both Malaysians had been very jovial already and cracked up the table with their banter. Lee was seemingly trying to get Yap to fold and then joked "no ace no ace" once he was called.

Yap asked for an ace and checked the {q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop. Lee continued for 40,000 and that was all it took to win the pot.

Guerrero Runs Out of Chips For Now

Level 10 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Jimmy Guerrero
Jimmy Guerrero

Down to the last 104,000, Jimmy Guerrero was all-in with the {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and had a kicker problem. Ying Lin Chua held the dominating {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and there was not much hope yet on the {j-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop. The {5-Clubs} turn was a huge equity boost for the Frenchman but he missed all the outs on the {a-Spades} river.

Lim Flipped Out by Huang

Level 10 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Chin Wei Lim
Chin Wei Lim

Chin Wei Lim had gotten a previous shove through to climb back up to around 20 big blinds. The next preflop move, however, was looked up by Vincent Huang and they were flipping.

Chin Wei Lim: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Vincent Huang: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}

No ace or king appeared on the {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs}{9-Spades} runout and Lim re-entered almost immediately.

Ng Jams Into Crawshaw

Level 10 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Wai Loon Ng
Wai Loon Ng

With plenty of chips already in the middle, Hamish Crawshaw from under the gun checked the {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop. He then called a bet worth 125,000 by Wai Loon Ng from the next seat and they moved onto the {10-Spades} turn. Crawshaw checked again and Ng then pushed all-in for 481,000.

After asking for an exact count, Crawshaw used two time banks and sigh-folded.

Lee Binks a Small Pot

Level 10 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Wai Kiat Lee re-entered not that long ago and defended his big blind against Phachara Wongwichit. "How much do you have behind?" Wongwichit in the two seat asked while Lee's chips in the eight seat were mostly covered by the dealer and shot clock.

"Around one million," Lee joked. He then check-called a small bet on the {q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop. Both knuckled down the {2-Hearts} turn and {2-Spades} river after which Lee won the pot with the {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}.

Assorted Counts in the Field

Level 10 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Eng Soon Ewe got a shove through against fellow big stack Sung Joo Hyun in which the latter lost one quarter of his stack.

Wai Kok Sim was eliminated for the second time when his pocket aces were cracked by {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}.

Besides that, some of the later entrants have already lost a portion of their chips and dropped below 25 blinds at the new level.
